(Seria A 2022/2023): Highlights AC Milan - Empoli

Salamakas, this is Remic, Pedizan with a brilliant save, the flag stayed down, still there for Teo Hernandez now, there's Pedizan once more. Two saves from point-blank range to keep Milan at bay. Calabria is giving it away to Marine, this is Filippo Bandinelli looking for Piccoli and this is Caputo who might have been better served trying to shoot first time. Pobega, that's wayward, Fazzini, that's careless, Marine got there but now Tomori for Tonali, lovely first touch, Tonali almost found the corner. Salamakas, Remic, Salamakas once more, forgot the ball, Milan have it again though, Salamakas, Pobega, that was drilled, there was a touch on the way through. Pobega able to turn and tease it in, this is Teo Hernandez, too high for Origi and somehow the ball is cleared away just for a throw-in. Rahim Diaz spotting Rafael Leal, Rafael Leal, De Vint is not dealt with it, Florenzi, I think it caught the post, that is the closest now that Milan have come to that opening goal, there is still time. This is Salamakas, Giroud calling for it, Salamakas going himself and there's Olivier Giroud and I think the last touch was off the Frenchman. Teo Hernandez, Giroud, Rahim Diaz, there was Perizat, that's the big save that Empoli needed. Rahim Diaz, De Ketelaere, in it comes from Rafael Leal and now it's Florenzi, Giroud attacks it and Giroud scores, sent off the bench for that exact purpose, that it was a handball from Giroud and it finishes at San Siro, disappointingly for the Rossoneri, Milan nil, Empoli nil.
