back to school haul 2018 | casual college style

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel today I'm going to be doing a back-to-school clothing haul for you guys And this is completely real like college edition if that makes sense I'm getting a ton of requests to do this and I was like, okay You guys understand that at least at the University of Georgia where I attend where I'm going to be a sophomore this fall The it's not anymore. So Dresses and ballet flats it's more so The largest t-shirt you can find and some shorts It is so nice being able to roll out of bed and just kind of pop on a t-shirt and shorts and head out the Door, however, sometimes I kind of want to feel a little bit more dressed up So I don't really go with the status quo like some days I'll just dress up just because I want to like no one judges you at UGA like everyone just is so chill like you can Wear whatever you want, but out of ease and out of staying up late studying or doing whatever It is nice to have some comfy clothes. However, so in the beginning of last year of my freshman year of college I just brought a ton of t-shirts with me and little did I know that as soon as I joined a sorority You get like a thousand shirts within the first two weeks and then big little forget about it You're big gets you so many shirts. So I Had a lot of t-shirts and I was just kind of getting tired of like always wearing t-shirts so as I kind of like gone through went through classes and I kind of just like observed what my classmates were wearing and Kind of the style that kind of has developed at least at UGA like what a lot of people wear like kind of big shirts Honestly like this Necklaces kind of athleisure if you will so today I'm going to be showing you guys a lot of athleisure things that I have purchased in the last few weeks getting ready to go back to school because I do still wear like My Kappa Delta t-shirts and when I go on frat date nights like whatever that is But I still like to be like somewhat put together So when I wear like these fun flowy shirts and some layer necklaces and like leggings and some cool sneakers I feel good and that's kind of the style at least at UGA like every school is differently like my friend Caitlin told me That UVA she goes to University of Virginia Some people wear like Lululemon and some people actually do still dress up wear and wear like collared shirts It's literally personal preference for me when I go to class I'm usually wearing either like a workout outfit because I'll like go work out after or I'm Probably wearing like a flowy shirt like this and a lot of people wear like cool sneakers to kind of dress it up It's kind of cool like come to UGA. It's a fun time Anyways, that's the backstore and everything. But yeah, I got some things from Nordstrom rack dick sporting goods Nordstrom and I have two pairs of shoes to show you guys So I'm really excited and I actually didn't even mean to like wear this. I just this is what I was wearing today So it's kind of funny. I'm totally wearing like the true college outfit at least at UGA Yeah, and also shout out to my friend Charlotte. She just started her own jewelry company and it's called gypsy Underscore underscore gems, I believe I'll have it her like handle down below But I got this super cute necklace from her and she has a ton of super cute necklaces So if you go to school in the south these necklaces you guys know are like super big right now like just some fun beaded necklaces are really cool to wear with just like your t-shirts or whatever like people layer on like I Love it and she has a store right now and I love it. So go check her out so I'm gonna start off with Nordstrom rack because I actually went there today and I was so shocked at the amount of things I Actually went in there to find a pair of shoes for sort of recruitment and I walked out with everything but that so yeah I'm always looking for new shirts like this Just flowy shirts that you can wear with like bralettes or whatever you want because they're just comfy But they're cute and bohemian and fun A lot of you guys have asked me where I got this one from because I post Instagrams in a lot It is from free people and I will have it linked down below Because I know a ton of you guys have wanted it and it's so great and I want it in every color I found a ton of awesome flowy shirts Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to find the links for these because it was at Nordstrom rack So I got a ton of flowy shirts. The first one I got is from the brand PST by project social tea Oh, that's what it stands for I pretty much went to the large section and bought all the large shirts because I just they shrink and you just want it to Be really big. Um, but yeah, so I got this one. I love this material Oh, by the way, this isn't gonna be tryouts. They're literally t-shirts like okay I love this neckline everything about this shirt It's like a cool bat wing and I just feel like it's gonna be perfect off the shoulder with their bralette And I kind of like how you might be able to see the bralette underneath a little bit It's like a really good material next up. I got this one. I love this material even more. This is from the brand abound Oh, I didn't even realize this is an XXL. I thought I was getting an XL Well, I love me a big t-shirt. Trust me at like Southern schools like the bigger the t-shirt the better It's hilarious. Like we wear bigger t-shirts than the guys. It's hilarious But yes, this is like a fun v-neck more so again the same kind of bat wings I kind of like the Material looks a little bit worn which I like. Hopefully it's not actually worn, but you know, maybe Actually, I really don't care. I go through shopping. I'm really talking it right now. I think this is the same Yeah, this is the same brand, but this is in a light blue color I love this and I kind of have a tan right now So hopefully I'm hoping that the first few days of classes this will help me show off my little tan Kind of have so yeah, I like this v-neck because it makes it even more off the shoulder. I believe this is the same Yeah, so this is the same brand as that first white shirt I showed you guys but in a peach color again to show off that summer tan I totally see myself wearing this with like a ton of layered necklaces and like some white Lululemon shorts and like some cool sneakers Like that's kind of what I would do Comment down below if you guys want me to do like a Everyday college outfits ideas video like could be down camos really big at my school and I didn't used to like it But now I'm like really into it not really into it, but like I can appreciate it. So I got this shirt It's kind of like a faded camo Again, it's kind of like a v-neck situation. By the way, all these shirts were on sale for like $15 That's why I got so many like my total at the checkout was like a little bit over $100 And I got a pair of shoes that haven't showed you guys yet. So love Nordstrom Rock This is from the brand socialite. I think this is gonna be great with like a black bralette Yeah, so this is like kind of confusing it's like inside out so like the inside it's front It's also from that brand PST that I got that peach and that white one from so the stripes are dark on the inside But it's supposed to have like that inside out feel. I love this one. I feel like I'm gonna wear this one a lot I have a thing for stripes. I don't I don't know why so I guess I got a lot of the same brands I mean, it makes sense. They probably make the similar thing So I got another one of these but in a lighter gray color because guys this is literally gonna be my wardrobe for the fall Like just gonna rotate all of these shirts with bralettes and different pairs of pants So I'm really excited. This one's like a little bit of a lighter gray. This one was $16 This one I love so this is like honestly the only one that I got that I guess isn't like off the shoulder This one's a little bit of a higher neck, but it's the super cool heathered material I love that and then on the very bottom It has this cute little tie which I think gives it a little something like maybe I'll wear this one with like Jeans and some cool slip-ons or something to dress it up a little bit and some cool necklaces since this is like a higher neck Oh, I'm ready for it. These shoes are by the brand gentle souls by Kenneth Cole so I guess it's like an off-brand of Kenneth Cole, and I'm really into stars right now like really into stars and A big thing at UGA is you kind of wear like cool statement sneakers? I'm just actually I don't really know if that's the thing I'm really into statement sneakers And I think they look really great when you're just wearing like plain stuff So I found these and they were on sale for $39 and I almost cried Okay, I didn't almost cry, but like you know what I mean They're these slip-ons right here, and they're like a tan nude color with these silver stars on it. I don't know They're really comfortable. It makes sense now that I didn't even realize they're from Kenneth Cole like that's such like a hearty brand You know so these are gonna be great for class I can't wait to wear these with like you know a shirt like this and some jeans or like whatever it may be But yeah, they're super comfortable And they were just on sale for $39 and they've got cool zippers, and they're stars, and they're fun and trendy We love it from Dick's sporting goods I actually didn't even mean to like go there my brother wanted to go in there to buy some fishing sunglasses And I was like okay And then I went and found the Nike shorts and game over my favorite types of track shorts to wear with like my Shirts and t-shirts and stuff are Nike shorts and the lemon shorts I find them the most flattering the most comfortable and Dick's sporting goods was having a sale like buy one get one half off So I got four pairs of Nike shorts first pair I got are these black ones I like these because they're like all black because most of the black ones you see they have like A white stripe, but these are like blacked out which I kind of like they go more They go with more things also got this white pair except a pair of white Lululemon shorts that I love So I wanted to see how I like the white Nike ones and my mom has these and they're so flattering They make your legs look so good. I this is probably my favorite pair I got these are like shorter though, so I don't really know but they're stars I don't know if you guys can see it's silver stars, but on one side It's like plain so I'm really excited, and it's gray on the sides, but you guys know I love me some stars Update those shorts were actually kids shorts, and I could barely get them up my legs So and the last pair of shorts I got are these Columbia blue shorts with like a dark blue on the side These will just be great I love when like you can just barely see the shorts They just peek under a little bit if you guys go to school in the south You know what I mean like legit people just wear like a six sneakers big t-shirts and Nike shorts And you're like cool. You know it's funny and then from regular Nordstrom I wanted to show you guys these two shirts. I got cuz they were both $25, which I was shocked I got them in like the BP section. They're from the brand treasure bond, so I got this white one I actually wore in my Miami vlog, so it's what I wore the day. We like drove to Miami It's really really comfortable, and it looked really cool with my black bralette underneath, and then I got this gray color These are all starting to look the same aren't they? But yeah, I love this one, too. I just love this wash for some reason It just makes me really happy and lastly so you guys know I love these white Vince sneakers I've been wearing them in all my vlogs I also have these sneakers in gray and black because they are so comfortable and They give you height because I'm 5'3, so I like feeling a little bit taller, so these are great They give you a little confidence. They make your legs look so good. I can't say enough great things however I've worn these all summer, and they are white and I have some coffee stains on the side That's typical me like oh my goodness, but I actually just ordered a new pair on Nordstrom.com So I'll have a link down below if you guys want to check them out These are literally my favorite shoes ever like if I don't know what to wear I just put these on like sometimes I'll just wear these to a nice dinner because I don't care and you can kind of dress them up if you like wear Them with like a cool dress and like wear these it's like a statement So yeah, I'm excited for my new babies to come, but I'm gonna keep these for like game days and stuff So I don't feel as bad, but they are a little bit expensive But I literally wear them every day, so I feel like it's worth it that is it for this haul video I hope you guys enjoyed.
