Hey Busy Bees! A while back I made chia seed puddings and a lot of you asked me for new
or more flavor combinations. Well today I partnered with So Delicious Dairy Free
to bring you 5 chia seed puddings that will blow your mind. They're super easy to make,
there's no cooking required, and best of all they're so delicious. Make sure you're subscribed
to my channel because I have a lot of fun content coming out and be sure to tell your friends.
Let's go ahead and get started with our coconut based chia seed pudding.
Start your day with So Delicious Dairy Free coconut milks,
yogurts, and creamers made with organic non-GMO coconuts.
I'm starting with my So Delicious Dairy Free unsweetened coconut milk.
And now we're going to start with our basic chia seed pudding.
I have a quarter cup of chia seeds. Put it in a bowl.
One tablespoon of maple syrup for some added sweetness.
And one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Finally to soak those chia seeds I'm going to pour in my one cup of So Delicious Dairy Free
coconut milk. I'll mix the chia seed mixture well and evenly and I'll let it soak for about one hour.
So you can let this sit at room temperature for about an hour or in the fridge to overnight.
Once it's ready this is how it should look.
A little bit thick. The chia seeds have expanded and it'll be nice and creamy.
And here's a close-up. Yum.
Now the best thing about chia seed puddings is that they are so versatile.
You can pretty much come up with any flavor combinations that you want.
So I'm going to show you a few interesting ones that I love with, of course, matcha.
I'm going to start off with one teaspoon of matcha powder.
This time around I'm going to add in half a cup of my coconut milk.
Mix it well until the matcha has fully dissolved.
Then I'm going to add in the rest of my coconut milk which is half a cup.
A quarter cup of chia seeds.
One tablespoon of maple syrup.
And one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Give it a good mix.
And same thing, let it sit for an hour to overnight.
Okay, pretty simple, right?
They all follow a basic base but with a few tweaks.
So next one I'm going to show you is a chocolatey chia seed pudding.
I'm starting with a quarter cup of chia seeds.
One tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.
Give it a good mix and make sure everything is distributed.
You don't want any clumps here.
One tablespoon of maple syrup.
One teaspoon of vanilla extract.
And finally, one cup of our so delicious dairy-free coconut milk.
Mix, mix, mix again.
I love how the cocoa just rises.
It adds a nice like film on top.
It's a chocolatey layer.
Same thing, set it aside for one hour or put it in the fridge overnight.
Finally, our last one is going to be infused with peanut butter.
I'm starting with one tablespoon of maple syrup.
One tablespoon of creamy peanut butter.
And one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
I'm going to mix this up first into a paste and then add my coconut milk.
This way it thins out the peanut butter and it doesn't leave a clumpy peanut butter
mix with chia seeds.
Trust me on this.
Then I'm going to add in the rest of our coconut milk so I have a full cup.
And finally, our quarter cup of chia seeds.
Mix, mix, mix again.
And you know the drill.
Our chia seed puddings have set so now it's time to have fun with some flavor combinations.
Now guys, it's time to assemble.
In my little jar, I'm going to add my base, our plain coconut chia pudding.
Then I'll layer on some pineapple bits.
More of our coconut-based chia pudding.
More pineapples.
And finally, I'm going to sprinkle on some toasted coconut chips.
Here, our pina colada pudding.
For the next one, I'm adding some coconut chia seed pudding at the bottom.
Layer it with some diced yellow peaches.
A splash of our coconut creamer.
For the coconut cream, I'm using So Delicious Dairy-Free Coconut Milk Creamer.
And it just adds a beautiful, silky, smooth richness to the pudding.
It pairs super well with the peaches.
And this thing comes in original or French vanilla, but today I'm going to use French vanilla.
More pudding.
More peaches.
And another splash of coconut creamer.
And that's our peaches and coconut cream.
I'm starting with my coconut-based pudding.
Then I'm taking strawberry halves and I'm just going to stick it to the side of my jar.
Make sure it clings.
And then I'm going to fill up the rest of our jar with the matcha pudding.
Look at those colors and layers.
Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful.
And because I love strawberries with matcha, I'm going to add a few more diced strawberries.
Look at those layers, you guys.
Isn't it so pretty?
And way Instagrammable.
Alright, this time I'm going to add a few raspberries at the bottom.
And then we're going to fill the jar up with our chocolatey chia seed pudding.
Layer on some more raspberries and, of course, chocolate chunks.
Here we have our chocolate raspberry chia seed pudding.
So beautiful.
And decadent.
And finally, for our last one, I'm going to fill the jar up with our peanut butter chia seed pudding.
All the way to the top.
Now a nice dollop of creamy natural peanut butter.
A spoonful of your favorite jam.
I'm using raspberry here.
And some roasted chopped peanuts.
Perfection.
This is like a childhood favorite.
PB&J chia.
Wasn't that fun, guys?
We made a piña colada chia seed pudding, peaches and coconut cream,
a layered matcha strawberry pudding, chocolate raspberry, and PB&J.
The possibilities are truly endless here, you guys.
And best of all, there's no cooking required.
And for you guys that are vegan, you guys will appreciate this too.
Which flavor combinations do you guys like best?
And which one would you try first?
For me, my favorite was this matcha strawberry.
Of course, right?
I'm going to give it a try.
Got a little bit of everything.
Looks so good.
I love all the colors.
So good.
The strawberries are so sweet and they just complement the matcha flavor so well.
But I also get that hint of coconut milk in there.
You guys have to try this.
