IS THAT BUSHCRAFT ?! BUILDING MTB TRAIL & OVERNIGHT CAMP

Hi guys and welcome back to my channel. So today's video is gonna be a little bit different than usual because you're not gonna see the forester today. As I said in my very first video, ANSM Overland is not only about overlanding, it's also about mountain biking, hiking and basically everything that is outdoor related. And that's why we are here today in the forest. If you haven't noticed yet, this is the same spot as Camp N Ride 1 and that's because it's our little MTB secret spot. And we are here today because I really want to get the trail in shape for when my Specialized Enduro is gonna be ready to run. I'm currently rebuilding it, new fork, bushings, bearing, everything is gonna be like brand new. But first of all, I'm gonna walk a bit around the spot and pick up all the trash I can find because sadly people come here, ride their bikes, have fun but they leave all kind of trash everywhere just like this and it really annoys me. So I'm gonna grab my trash bag, pick up all of this and it's gonna be better after that. You really have to take care of your trails 4WD, MTB, hiking trails, it doesn't matter, you have to take care of them. And there we go, a 30 liter bag almost full of trash. Okay so let's get to something a little bit funnier. You can see behind me there is two big fallen trees and they're actually something I'm gonna ride with my mountain bike because one side is the kicker and the other side is the landing. And I'm building everything with dirt and woods so it's kind of a mix between bushcraft and digging, shaping, building. So for this I'm using my hatchet and a homemade wooden hammer. Okay so I didn't add so much time today to dig and build this. You can see that it's a very long process but I'm pretty sure that when it's gonna be finished it's gonna be awesome to ride. So as you can see the sun is starting to set so I'm not gonna lose time. I'm gonna set up camp and plus we're gonna have a special guest tonight. And that's our camp spot. There is already a little fire pit here to look like a good spot to set up the tent. Okay so let's set up that tent. So I got the tarp for our special guest of tonight, my floor mat, the tent and my sleeping bag. Okay nice. So it's getting really really dark right now and I'm gonna prepare some firewood for tonight. Okay so our special guest is gonna be here really soon and we're gonna grab more firewood. By the way this is the first time I shoot videos by night so sorry if it's not really perfect. Hey mate! So there it is, our special guest of tonight. It's my brother Johan. Hello guys. So he's gonna spend the night with me and right now we're gonna try to start the fire. I'm blind. Nice soup for tonight. You like it? Yeah it's yummy yummy. Second round, some rice. Okay so what time is it Johan? It's midnight. It's time to sleep. Okay so we had a good night of sleep and now it's time to pack up and head back home. I decided to share this little journey with you because it was a good day in the great outdoor plus it's the perfect combination of what I love beside overlanding.
