Question of the day, what is wellness? Can we even ascertain the differences between sickness
and wellness in this modern society? I think not. I'm also wanting to talk in that same vein about
Gwyneth Paltrow in a recent interview that she gave. Plus later on, don't worry guys, get excited.
I know you're waiting for this, it's finally here. Black at AI. Yeah, everything is better if it's
here. That's fat and black and also artificially intelligent. And we will have that and a lot more
today coming up on Candace Owens. Gwyneth Paltrow, very interesting person,
was an actress, sings a little bit and found a lot of fame. People began following her as some
health guru. I'm not sure why, maybe because of the movie Shallow Hell. And suddenly she's this
crunchy granola mom. But at root, I think we all know that she is anything but healthy.
I've always thought this. I look at her and I think this is a girl who has an eating disorder.
That's it. A girl that became a woman who has an eating disorder and it's never left her.
And rather than trying to conquer, again, this is my opinion, I cannot say as a fact that Gwyneth
Paltrow has an eating disorder. But rather than trying to conquer what I perceive to be an eating
disorder, she made it trendy. She made it trendy for other women to aspire to be as deathly ill
looking and sick and pale as she looks all the time. But this is what society is. Society now
tries to turn sickness into wellness. Now, I used to keep these thoughts to myself about Gwyneth
Paltrow. I don't have any personally against her other than this promotion for what I believe to
be an eating disorder. And if you read my book, I wrote extensively about what it was like me
journeying through my own eating disorder. So this particularly makes me upset that she does this
and that society applauds her and that she's able to make money for doing this.
But I'm talking about it today because she recently went on the podcast of one of her
doctors, and I'm putting doctors in air quotations because it turns out he's not
actually a medical doctor. He's just like, you know, a Greta Thunberg type doctor.
And she spoke about her diet. And here's what she had to say.
What does your wellness routine look like now? I eat dinner early in the evening. I do a nice
intermittent fast. I usually eat something about 12. And in the morning, I'll have some things that
won't spike my blood sugar, right? So I have coffee, but I really like soup for lunch. I have
bone broth for lunch a lot of the days. Try to do one hour of movement. So I'll either take a walk
or I'll do Pilates or I'll do my Tracy Anderson. And then I get in the sauna. I dry brush and I get
in the sauna. So I do my infrared sauna for 30 minutes. And then for dinner, I try to eat,
you know, according to paleo. So lots of vegetables. It's really important for me to
support my detox. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. She's on a detox, guys. A detox from food. A detox from health.
So just to recap that, she wakes up in the morning and she abstains from eating until about 12 o'clock
when she decides she should eat something. And that something that she eats is not soup.
It's bone broth. Bone broth is not soup. There's no substance in bone broth. It's basically water,
liquidy water that comes from a bone. And then after she's had a little bit of that liquidy water,
she jumps in for an aggressive workout. Tracy Anderson method is a very aggressive
anaerobic workout. Sometimes she does Pilates, also a very aggressive anaerobic workout.
And then when she's done with that, she gets into the sauna and she dry brushes,
which brings us to the late afternoon whereupon she thinks, I'm going to have an early dinner.
And that early dinner consists of lots and lots of vegetables. She doesn't mention the meat,
but she says it's paleo. Now, paleo, typically you want a meat and vegetables, but for her,
she only mentions the lots and lots of vegetables. So this is everything that she just presented to
you is proof of an eating disorder. And people were understandably outraged,
not because they thought that she was eating a lot. She's never pretended that she likes food,
but because she had the gall to say it. And actually, I kind of respect her for being honest
about it. I think it would have been much worse if she came out and pretended that she eats
McDonald's and has a burger every night and it's just this thin. She doesn't look good to me. Again,
she looks unhealthy. And this is an example of people not really knowing what wellness actually
is. We're living in a site right now where we don't know, we can't talk about mental wellness
anymore because it's become so convoluted. And people that are so clearly insane are telling us
that they're sane. And the people that are fully sane are being told that they're crazy and bigoted
for not understanding the people that are obviously clinically insane. We're in a very messy,
mixed up society and going with Paltrow is obviously proof of that. She doesn't understand
what beauty is because culturally, we don't have an honest conversation about what beauty
actually should be. We oscillate between extremes. Another example of that, of us not knowing what
wellness is, look no further than the cover of magazines that are trying to convince us that
fatness, the number one killer in our society, heart disease, which is garnered from obesity,
is somehow health. That was actually a cover, by the way, of Cosmopolitan magazine,
that fat is healthy. Literally, that was what it said, fat is healthy. It's just a lie,
a remarkable lie. Andrew Schultz went on the Joe Rogan podcast many moons ago and he talked about
this phenomenon of people throwing their fat into our faces. And what he says is pretty brilliant.
It sounds like me. And so I'm going to let you listen to it. Take a listen.
They don't have plus size models for men, Joe.
There is nothing that enrages me more than fat models.
There is nothing that enrages me more than fat models. Okay. Let me just say something.
As a comic, we want attention. We don't feel like we deserve it. So we make you laugh. So
there's an even exchange. I get my attention, you get some joy. An actor, they want attention.
They're not willing to write the script, but they'll memorize some lines. They'll do a little
bit of effort to get the attention. A regular model, at least she's willing to lose weight
so that she can be looked at. But these fat are just like, look at me. You start to be looked at.
Look at me. It's exactly right. It's so true. It's why I talk about it all on the show all
the time. I don't care. People call me fat phobic. I'm not fat phobic or any phobic. I'm stupid phobic.
There's a lot of stupid going on. Ogeda Paltrow said on her show was truthful,
but it was also stupid. You should not aspire to anorexia. And especially when you are her age,
it just ages you rapidly. Nobody should aspire to it, but especially her, because she's going
to look like the Crypt Keeper in a couple of years. And it is exactly right that we keep
aspiring towards badness, that we're aspiring towards people being fat, trying to convince
us that it's beautiful. It's like somebody putting garbage on your plate and telling you that it's
good. Just eat it. It's good. It's in your mind. No, there is such a thing as objective beauty.
There is such a thing as objective health. And usually when you achieve those things,
it's because you are not oscillating towards extremes. There is something in the middle.
And I just wanted to bring that story to you because it is a sign of our cultural illness,
which is not wellness. And that is all I'm going to say about that.

really do. But I cannot look away from this current Gwyneth Paltrow trial that is going on,
and I'm going to tell you why. I'm ashamed, but you will never see a trial like this,
at least you shouldn't, if there was any sense in the legal system. If I was the judge in this
trial, I would sentence them both to 30 days in prison. So I'm going to give you a little brief
synopsis of what's going on. There was a day in Park City, Utah, in which wealthy Gwyneth Paltrow
was skiing down a mountain, and allegedly she hit another wealthy doctor from behind.
They both fell. This happens sometimes. There are collisions down the mountain. People bump
into each other. By the way, this happens everywhere. Sometimes you could just be
walking and talking. You bump into somebody. But when you have this much money, obviously,
there is a lawsuit that must be filed because how could anybody go through the trauma of bumping
into somebody down a mountain if you have enough money to spend on the slopes of Park City, Utah?
Now, why is this trial unbelievable? Because as one of my producers put it,
it is the goopiest trial ever. This trial could not get more pretentious. I mean,
down from her outfits, she's wearing tens of thousands of dollars worth of clothing every
single day, down to the fact that her private security team, obviously being instructed by her
because they work for her, private security team does not do this unless she expressly asks them to,
asks whether or not they could bring in treats for the bailiffs on day three of the trial.
We bring in some baked goods for the bailiffs, and the lawyer from the opposing team said,
no, that would not be appropriate because why would that be appropriate? Who's ever offered
to bake cookies for the bailiffs in a courthouse? Well, she's going to Paltrow,
and it's probably a really good Paleo recipe, which has nothing but air in it.
I made this cookie from air, and I don't eat it because I don't eat,
but I would like you guys to be able to enjoy the air cookie. Moving on to other elements,
she testified, I kid you not, she took a stand and testified that she thought the collision
down this mountain on a ski slope might have been a sexual assault at first.
She said, quote, I was skiing, and two skis came between my skis, forcing my legs apart.
And then there was a body pressing against me, she told the court, and there was a very strange
grunting noise. So my brain was trying to make sense of what was happening. My mind was going
very, very quickly, and I was trying to ascertain what was happening. Our bodies were almost
spooning, and I moved away quickly. It's incredible. So she's reimagined someone bumping
into her down a slope, or vice versa, if you believe his story or her story, as a sexual
assault. Now, why is she doing that? Obviously, well, Gwyneth Paltrow was also one of Harvey's
accusers, and maybe Harvey just bumped into her. That's what happened. But obviously,
this is a way to get the court to some on your side in the Post Me Too era, right,
the fall of Harvey Weinstein. Now, all you have to do is say the buzzword sexual assault,
even if it makes entirely no context. Because whenever in the history of the world, please
let me know if I'm right. Has somebody been raped as they were actively going down a mountain on
skis? Tell me. If I'm wrong, I will say sorry. I know there's gonna be the one person that
tags me and says, it wasn't me, Candace. I was on skis. I was going down the mountain.
And he came down fast, and he must have been a really good skier,
a really good skier, if he was able to rape you as he was declining down a mountain.
But please tell me, guys, where does this happen? Nowhere except in a Hollywood glorious retelling
of them simply falling down. But no, that is just another piece of this insane,
goopy trial. Now, the perhaps craziest thing is that the guy who brought about this trial
has a lawyer. She is a female. But his female lawyer is very clearly a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow.
So I'm going to let you listen to the plaintiff's lawyer question Gwyneth Paltrow. Now, this woman
should be questioning her hard core. She should be sticking it to Gwyneth Paltrow. She wants her
client to win. Nope, I think she subscribes to goop. Take a listen.
And you're not trained in accident reconstruction.
Me?
Yeah. Neither am I.
I was yelling at her.
Pretty loud.
I love her.
Pretty forceful.
I was pretty upset.
Right. You're small, but mighty. Actually, you're not that small. And I'm assuming,
you're under oath here, that you're a good tipper. Yes. Fantastic. I wouldn't expect anything less.
I love this lawyer. I'm sorry. I have nothing bad to say about this lawyer. She doesn't care.
She's just blonde fangirling. Hey, look, I might do this if it was Denzel Washington. I'd be like,
all right, I'm supposed to kind of be defending this guy. But I'm just going to ask some really
fangirly questions to Denzel. He'd be like, you're a great actor. You love doing movies.
You love doing movies. How tall are you? My God, you're so tall. Can I touch your bicep?
It's just ridiculous. She's pointing over. You're 5'10". Oh, I wish I was 5'10",
but I have to wear heels. And then Gwyneth says to her, they're really nice heels,
as if Gwyneth actually thinks that. Unless those are Celine heels and they cost like $3,000,
they're not nice. But Gwyneth and her are just like two girls that are sitting down,
having coffee with each other, chatting about the weekend, and the guys didn't text them back.
That's it. That's what they're talking about, the guys who didn't text them back.
Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous display from a lawyer that is supposed to be cross-examining her.
This is why I can't look away from this trial. Now, the guy who is suing her is a retired
optometrist. He's 76 years old. His name is Dr. Terry Sanderson. Well, he says that he has brain
damage from this fall. We don't know who hit who, but he says that she hit him. And obviously,
he's bringing about the suit. And he's alleging that he is brain damaged. His brain has been
damaged from this horrific fall, which maybe was just like sexual assault, but probably wasn't.
And as proof of how brain damaged he is, his daughter has taken the stand to say that her
daughter, so this would be Sanderson's granddaughter, doesn't like him anymore.
And that's proof that he's brain damaged. He's changed so much that his granddaughter doesn't
like him anymore. She says that he became an angry person after the crash and that his
behavioral changes have impacted his relationships with loved ones, including a granddaughter.
His 52-year-old daughter described through tears how her father went from someone who
had a zest for life to a very insecure person who doesn't really trust his brain anymore.
She wanted to describe how much his demeanor had changed so much so that he no longer has
relationship with one of his daughters. She said, quote, she doesn't like my dad.
She just doesn't like him. And if you're thinking that that's evidence of brain damage,
then you probably haven't been around people that are well on and are just set in their ways.
And it could just probably be a typical familial dispute where people don't like their relatives,
don't like their aunts, don't like their uncles. Not necessarily evidence of brain damage,
just evidence of a family dynamic. But this is the goofiest trial ever.
So when they have family drama, it's definitely because they've been brain damaged by the maybe
rape, but definitely not a rape just to people falling down a mountain in a pretentious little
ski town. Think that's bad? Well, guess what else Sanderson is suffering from? Not only just
a granddaughter doesn't like him, but Dr. Wendell Gibby, a neuroradiologist specialist at University
of California, San Diego, said that Dr. Terry Sanderson showed signs of altered behavior.
One such sign, she said, quote, Terry had been a high functioning, active person.
Every day he was doing lots of things, meeting groups, wine tasting, skiing and volunteering.
After the accident, he had deteriorated abruptly and many of the activities that he loved to do,
he stopped doing. One of those activities, guys, was wine tasting. So Dr. Terry no longer goes on
wine tastings and you should feel really bad and you should want him to get millions of dollars
from Gwyneth Paltrow. So here's my conclusion. And we don't do Judge Candace segments anymore.
I wish we did because I'd like to sentence them both to 30 days in prison for being super
annoying. That's it. I want them to both be sentenced 30 days in prison. Just lock yourself
away. You can keep your saline bag. Dr. Terry, you can even have one wine tasting while you're
in prison. But you guys just need to spend some time with yourselves. That's it. Just to
recognize how absolutely absurd this entire thing is. It reads like an SNL skit. Actually, I think
if they had pitched this at an SNL sit down in the writer's room, they would probably have said,
no, that's too far fetched. It's too stupid. But it isn't too stupid. It's real life. If you are
Gwyneth Paltrow, this is the traumas that she goes through. Sexual assault, not at all. Just an old
man that fell and that she crashed into and that rather people would have just gotten up and been
like, oh, move it a hole. But not these two. All right, guys, moving on. This is interesting.
I typically do not think Hollywood has much to offer that is good. But there is a young woman
who used to go by Black China. Her real name is Angela White, and she is now going by her real
name, Angela White. I was hesitant to cover this because it felt to me a little, um, essentially
Black China. She's known for a lot of things. She used to be a music video. She's modeled from
time to time. She was kind of famously dating Robert Kardashian. They had a show together.
Well, she has been on OnlyFans, which was very on brand for her at the time,
charging $10 a month for her content. And she made a ton of money. Allegedly,
she soon made over $240 million on the site and was confirmed to be a top celebrity earner.
Well, she recently declared that she found Jesus and she no longer wants to do that.
She deactivated her account and said that this was no longer the path that she wanted to follow
in life. And I want you to take a listen to her say that in her own words.
I'm not doing OnlyFans anymore. And, you know, shout out to the girls that do do it,
but I'm kind of past that. I'm past that. It's like one of those things I did what I
needed to do at that moment because of the circumstances that I was in. And then it's
like you do it and it's just like you got to get out of it. And besides like me being baptized,
like that's just not that's just not what God would want me to do. Like and it's kind of like,
no, it's degrading. So following this, she's been on a journey to dissolve all of the work that she
has had done. She has admitted to having four breast augmentations, liposuction and silicone
injections in her backside beginning when she was 19 years old. Now she's on a journey to dissolve
facial fillers, remove her butt and her breast implants. And she has been documenting all of
this and all the procedures behind it on Instagram. Initially, when I saw this story, I just went like,
OK, well, only after you made two hundred and forty million dollars, you know, however many
millions you made on OnlyFans, did you suddenly, quote unquote, find God? But now that I'm thinking
about, I think that's a little bit too cynical because in reality, so many of these celebrities
make more money than people will ever have in their entire lives in one year and completely
degrading themselves, performing in a derogatory manner. And it never stops. And they actually want
more and more and more of it. And she's doing the opposite. She's actually saying, you know what,
I do have enough and I don't want to do this. And she still has the same platform. And in this
circumstance, she's using her platform for good. So I actually do want to stop myself from becoming
too cynical and to applaud her on this, because this is actually one of the things that I always
say that upsets me the most about Cardi B is that I understand what she had to do, quote unquote,
to get to where she is today, you know, being a stripper and, you know, degrading herself and
things of that nature. But she no longer has to do that. And I always say I just wish that she
would grow. And here we have someone who's actually doing that. Blac Chyna is doing that.
She's not throwing any shots to anyone that is still living, but living in that dark reality
of selling their bodies for money. But she is saying that there is another way. And so if even
one person is inspired to change their lives because of her, then that means that what she
has done has served its purpose. So I do want to actually commend Blac Chyna. And I won't make any
jokes about it, because it actually is really cool. Well, guys, I know you're waiting for this.
And when I say waiting for it, I feel like your entire life, you were just like, when is there
going to be fat, black sci-fi? I know. So what do you think? We all thought it. I thought it. I think
it every day. I'm just like, my gosh, sci-fi needs to be bigger and fatter and blacker. And I say
that about everything, by the way. No matter where I'm at, I'm just like, why isn't it big, fat and
black? I know you think the exact same thing. Well, here is a good thing, and BuzzFeed is
reporting on it. So this article in BuzzFeed, I first want to say, was written by Cheyenne Davis.
And Cheyenne M. Davis uses the pronouns they, them, theirs. So you can tell Cheyenne's a very
smart person, and this is why they picked this to cover. Anyway, Cheyenne is covering the work of
Alex Smith. Who is Alex Smith? He is a person who grew up in Greenville, North Carolina, spent his
upbringing engrossed in the world of cartoons and comics. And then he started to realize that he
really loved sci-fi. And quote, sci-fi showed him that sci-fi could have literary quality,
but it could also be progressive and liberatory. Went on to say, sci-fi is kind of like my church.
Not to be clear, he's a 47-year-old person. So said 47-year-old man, he says,
it's spiritual and very much connected to who I am as a black queer person.
The problem with this church, however, is that there isn't very many black and queer people
that are being represented. Smith went on to say, it just astonishes me that fat people in general
are treated and depicted as second-class citizens in science fiction works, or they're made to
represent something like greed, lust, or villainy. I want to pause right there, and I want to talk
about why that might be that fat people, when they are presented in movies, are not presented
as the heroes. Well, would you buy it if Superman was actually fat bastard running down the street
to save something or someone? Would you buy it if somebody that was just absolutely, I don't know,
1,000 pounds, was running down the street saving the day? When you know that if he probably took
four stairs, he would be huffing and puffing. I wouldn't buy it. I don't know. I don't know
if these movies worked, if Die Hard works with a very big, fat, black person playing the role.
I don't know if Die Hard works with Lizzo driving the truck. I don't know. I don't know. I'm asking
the question. I don't want to get in trouble. I don't want to be another scandal. I'm asking,
would you buy it? Would you be like, no, it totally makes sense. These are our Olympic
heroes right here. So anyways, he took this personally, and he began generating art to make
people understand that this could be done and that fat, black people are not always the villains.
And by the way, to be clear why this argument makes no sense is there's plenty of skinny,
black people that are the heroes. He particularly wants the fat, black people to be the heroes.
And I'm going to show you some of his artwork depicting things that are bigger and fatter and
blacker. So here is a woman that I can only describe her as looking exactly like Jabba the
Hutt. And Jabba the Hutt is not the hero in Star Wars. It's a picture of Jabba the Hutt.
It is the same picture. It absolutely is the same picture. It wasn't beautiful. It was fat,
but we're going to pretend that it wasn't. And by the way, Jabba the Hutt had no race.
I just want to be very clear. Next up is another image that we're supposed to think is beautiful,
kind of mermaid-ish. And it's giving me Ursula vibes, the opposite of mermaid.
Come on, you can't even tell the difference. Admit it, that looks exactly like Ursula from
Under the Sea. Now to be clear, Ursula was purple, so I don't think that that was much of an issue.
And it goes on and on and on like this, just more and more absurd pictures of us trying to
make us believe that the issue is that we just need better, fatter representation and
queerer representation, of course, because that's what America is all about. Beauty can be defined.
If it's gay and it's fat and it's black, then it's beautiful, guys. And if you don't think so,
it's because you're a bigot, racist, homophobe, sexist. Anyways, guys, that is all I'm going to
say about that. All right, guys, we have time to get into some of your comments. Always great to
see what you guys are thinking about the shows. This was regarding the rapper that got jumped
in an L.A. fitness in Palm Beach. His name is Tekashi69. Azazagoth writes,
How did he ever think that this day wouldn't come? He put over 20 people in jail, many of them for
life. He's lucky that he's still alive. I honestly think that some small timer is going to finish him
off just for clout. I don't wish harm in him, but he went on a two-year celebration tour for snitching
and getting out of jail. I did not follow what he did after. I only followed the trial because it was,
you know, so present in the media at that time. I didn't know that he went on a celebration tour
for snitching and getting out of jail. That does sound abhorrent, as are the crimes that he committed
in the first place that even made it so that he was up for serving, you know, 30 years in prison
in the first place. So by no means is he a good person. Next comment, somebody asks, Is it gangster
to learn about Tekashi69's beatdown from Candice Owens? I think it is gangster. I think I would
describe the show as gangster, and I would describe you as a gangster for listening to the show.
And the final set of comments are regarding Maren Morris. She is the not-so-big country singer that
wants to make it big by being perverted and just leaning into the LBGTQIA narrative, and now she
has a small child who's two, and she basically says, My small child's around drag queens. Come
and arrest me, Tennessee. Again, so desperate for attention. Nobody says that. It's just a weird
thing. Even if you are okay with drag queens, why would you ever publicly say, I put my child around
a drag queen, so come arrest me, Tennessee? That means that you literally need attention. That's all
that she wants is attention. She wants people to be outraged, because it gives her headlines that
you can't get them on the merit of her talent. Jake writes, Using your child as a political prop
is probably one of the lowest things you can do as a parent. I feel sorry that he has a narcissist
for a mom. It ain't easy. That is correct. He does have a narcissist for a mother and a father.
The father backs her up on this, which is super bizarre. It's some guy named Ryan.
Last comment is from Mountain Mama. She writes, I was a huge fan of Maren Morris when she first
came out. Even thought if I had another girl, I would name her Maren. Saw a post from her when
she first got pregnant supporting very woke ideas on Twitter. I was disgusted. Immediately unfollowed
her and never streamed her music again. So upsetting. She is a fake. I actually don't
think she's a fake. I think she's just desperate for fame, and she thinks that she will become like
Taylor Swift if she leans into this. What she's missing is the fact that Taylor Swift is extremely
talented. So whether we like Taylor's ideas or we don't, she is in fact a very talented writer,
performer, and singer. So she actually got into those spaces on the merit of her performances,
not because she leaned in at first to transing the children. In conclusion, Maren Morris, she sucks.
I'll see you guys then.
