Goal of the Season 2013/14 - The Aaron Ramsey masterclass

Arsenal enjoying plenty more possession in this game now. They can come forward once more for Zicky. Now Giroud, pretty isolated up there, up against three Norwich defenders, but at the far post is Ramsey! Well, how about that? What a season Alan Ramsey's having. So many goals the Welshman scored this season, but that, that just might be the pick of the bunch. Xherianne Giroud was always looking for support. Ramsey provided it. Kozola switching play to Jack Wilshere, eager to get Arsenal back on the front foot. Zicky, Kozola, back to Wilshere, Riziki, Giroud might fall for Riziki! Well, well, well, Arsenal at their very best. Absolutely nothing Sunderland could do about it. It's Thomas Riziki who was clearly at the heart of this move. Injecting the pace and the precision to unlock that Sunderland back line. It came back to him from Giroud. He made no mistake from close range. Lifts one in, Giroud waits. Oh, greatly brought down! Oh, that's absolutely fantastic from Olivier Giroud, who said he didn't have a right foot. It's Arsenal 2, West Ham 1. Oh my goodness. What a touch. What a touch from Olivier Giroud. That is so classy. Well played, Olivier Giroud. Gibbs, Wilshere, so tight in that penalty area. Space maybe for Ramsey. He's in here. Aaron Ramsey all the way. Oh! Oh my word, that's a lovely finish by Aaron Ramsey. There is no keeping this man down. A ninth goal of the season for the Welshman and victory for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. In terms of individual brilliance, it's right up there. Look at this. He wants the ball. There's so many bodies there. But 1-2. He's just sold three players in one go there. Jelovic gets away from Arteta. No foul, says Jonathan Marseille. A good position there. Now Ozil onto Olivier Giroud. Needs support though. Now he's found some. Ramsey's in there again. Podolski! What a finish that was! Chested down by Ramsey and Podolski on his favoured left foot. That's a ruthless finish. So far, it's just been classic counter-attack. Because it's just soak-up, soak-up pressure, bang, goal. It's just amazing how this half has panned out. I mean, their crowd are going mad. But you're talking about a decision 60, 70 yards from your goal. We've gone down the other end. Classic counter-attack. What a finish that was. Ozil. Delicately finds Ramsey. He can shoot. Now a finish. Tenth goal of the season for Aaron Ramsey. And it might well have put Arsenal five points clear at the top of the Premier League table. He's got no right to score from this type of position. But he's arrowed it into the top corner. It's got pace, power, dip on it. His season just gets better and better. It's phenomenal. Got the equaliser late on in the league game. But he's robbed of the ball. By fellow Spaniard Cazorla. And now Arsenal are charging forward. And they've got one over here. Ozil plays it through. Shahroub makes it 4-1. And I'll tell you what. Arsenal are definitely going to Wembley. Booking tickets is happening. Arsenal are in the FA Cup semi-final. And that is trademark Arsenal on the counter-attack. They've devastated the Toffees there. How smooth was that break? Santi Cazorla. Not a bad strike. What a goal that was. Arsenal are back into the tie. And it's Santi Cazorla with a wonderful free-kick. That is just, as they say, postage stamp. That's top right-hand corner. Keeper, no chance. Just what we needed. Just sheer brilliance. Here come the Gunners at pace. Ryzycki plays it in. Oxlade-Chambers in there again. Ryzycki shoots. What a goal that is. Brilliant goal from Thomas Ryzycki. And that's another goal of the season to tender. Oh my goodness. What a hit this is from Thomas Ryzycki. What a counter-attack it is. It's that man Chamberlain that starts it. He drives forward in here. The Tottenham left-back is absolutely nowhere. He's caught up field. The ball just falls to Ryzycki. It's a half-chance at best. Ryzycki's rockered it into the back of the net. Once this sits up for Thomas, boom. Wilshere. Cazorla. Giroud. Gets it back through. Wilshere. Onside. And scores. Norwich. Completely static. And caught out by the through ball from Giroud. And the eventual finish from Wilshere. Wow. What football this is from Arsenal. Absolutely unstoppable. One-touch football. It's just beautiful to watch. Cazorla starts it with the run. And here it's all about confidence. One-touch vision. Little flicks. Look at this. It's just an unbelievable goal. Surely a contender for goal of the season. Not many teams can produce this kind of magic.
