Korean Hair Care Routine + Tips | What I Eat For Healthy Hair
Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. Today I have a special video for you. I'm finally
bringing you guys a highly requested video. My hair care routine! Yes, a lot of
people have been asking me how I keep my hair very healthy looking. A lot of
people have been commenting that my hair looked very healthy and they wanted to
know how I take care of it. So today I will be doing that for you guys. I
honestly don't know where to start or start. Yeah, let's just go straight into
it. I'll show you the shampoo that I use and this is what I've been using these
days. Aromatica lemongrass. This smells bomb. I got the volumizing shampoo because
my hair, I have so much hair that it always just like drips down. Now it's all
flat because I've been wearing a hat. I always like having volume in my hair so I
got the volumizing shampoo and this is actually silicon and sulfate free. I've
researched online and they were always recommending that I stay clear from
products that have silicon and sulfate. Silicon is almost like rubber and
plastic. It gives only the illusion of shine guys. And it is a sealant against
water and even air. Silicon will also weigh down the hair so for people like
me who have a lot of hair, you do not want to use products like that. And with
time it will make it very lifeless, dull, and limp. And basically silicon is so
strong that it creates a barrier over your hair. Later due to the lack of
moisture and the lack of nutrients, your hair is going to break down and become
thinned out and you do not want that. Okay so with sulfate, sulfate is
responsible for the soapy lather that you get in shampoos. I'll be very honest,
I love that feeling because I just feel like my hair is getting thoroughly
washed. But it can even strip out the oils that you need in your hair for it
to be and stay healthy. It can also be the cause of weakened and fragile hair.
Get a shampoo. It doesn't have to be this one but get a shampoo that has no
silicon and sulfates. And guys I don't have a conditioner for you guys because
I actually finished the bottle but it was the same one from this brand and the
same line as well. So check out that one. I'll try to link it all down below. So
yeah that's also a silicon and sulfate free. And next product, I usually after
shampooing, I go not to the conditioner but to a hair treatment. And this is the
one I've been using for such a long time. This is the Shiseido Tsubaki hair
treatment. Everything is in Japanese right now because I got this one in
Japan but they also sell it in Olive Young. Pretty sure you can get it
internationally as well but I've been using this for such a long time. What I
do is before conditioner, I just put this treatment on for about like five to ten
minutes and then I wash it out. I do not use hot water to rinse out my hair. I
heard that it actually strips moisture from your hair and it could be damaging
as well if it gets too hot. I use this before conditioner because I was
recommended by my hairstylist that when you use treatment after conditioner, it
doesn't absorb because the conditioner basically builds like a fortress over
your hair. So always use treatment before conditioner. Guys I've been researching
about this product and I found out that I've been using it wrong. So I've been
using it every single day but I read and it was only recommended to use once a
week. I only use a little bit like this much and then I basically just go
through the bottom part but maybe that's why I do have very healthy hair
because I've been using this product every single day. I don't know, it worked
for me so I'm gonna continue using it every day. So yeah. After when I come out
I dry it, I use this. Biosilk Silk Therapy. Just finished using a bottle so I have
this one here. So it's brand new, didn't open it yet but I always have these
stocked up in my cabinet because it is a product that I always use. This product
and this product I always have stocked up in my cabinet. This product could get
super sticky so I use a little bit like a tiny bit like this much and then I put
it on the bottom ends of my hair first and then I work up and then with the
remaining I just like go this area. I think it's important to dry your hair
after you put this on because it just releases more of the tangles and a
tangle is there and you're drying and you make it even more dry you could
actually rip your hair and damage it while drying it. I believe that going
through with like a hair essence or an oil or whatever that can untie those
tangles in your hair before you dry your hair is crucial. And in the summer I make
sure to protect my hair with this. This is Clarins Mango Oil Nutrition and UV
Protection for dry and sun-exposed hair. Yes and it smells so good. I bought this
mostly because it just smells so good. I love the scent of mango. Okay so after
this I put in waves. So ceramic irons are the best because it prevents frizz and
you need to always stay around 200 degrees or less is even better for your
hair and you want a good product. You want a good iron. You want a good high-quality
one that you know will maintain that temperature. You don't want it to overheat
so that you're like curling first at like 200 degrees but then later it can
get overheated and it could go up to like 300, 400. Then the rest of your hair
is going to get damaged. So get a good product guys. It's gonna save you money
in the future from you know hair treatments. You know at salons they're so
expensive. I'll also link the one that I'm using down below so you can check out
that one. And same goes for drying your hair as well. Make sure you maintain a
good temperature while you are drying your hair and I recommend that you use
your dryer in a certain distance. Not too close because you can also damage your
scalp by overheating and drying it. And what I usually do is I go back and
forth from like hot and cold airs. So I switch up every like you know 30 seconds
and I make sure my hair can get like a breather. Plus it gets just too hot while
you're just like heating up yourself you know.
That was good. What I love more than orange juice is vitamin C. Vitamin C. I'm
actually a very avid taker of vitamin C. I promote it to all my friends. Tell them
about how I can boost your metabolism, boost your immune system. I could probably
boast that I haven't been catching a cold in the winter because I virtually
take vitamin C. I take it whenever I feel my immune system like kind of breaking
down on me. Maybe I feel it because it's fighting off the germs and like a virus
that's entered my body. So I could kind of feel myself getting more tired. That's
when I immediately take vitamin C. I usually take this around. That's why it's
so small. I bought this in Japan and I'm pretty sure we can get this in other
places. But any type of vitamin C I think would work.
I've actually researched it because I just got curious and it actually even
helps with skin and hair. So vitamin C helps to grow and strengthen hair
because it helps to build collagen. And collagen is very important for hair
growth and maintaining the strength of hair. It's also good for skin so that's
one of my tricks that I didn't even know about and I was doing it. I feel
like inner beauty is also very important or even more. Take vitamin C. Another thing I'm
going to share with you is these. Coconut oil in the pill form. I found these in
Japan so I immediately got them. They're very convenient because they just come
in these little pills and you just drink it with water. My mom has been an avid
taker of coconut oil and she always stresses the benefits of coconut oil.
Even to put it in hair, use it as a natural treatment. I recommend that you
heat it up so that it's not a solid form anymore and then apply it to your hair
and then rinse it out with shampoo. Rather than putting it on, my mom
always stressed me to take it and it was just the nastiest thing. Honestly I can't
stand the taste of coconut oil in my mouth. It's just ugh. So I thought this was like
the perfect way that I would take it. I'm just gonna share with you briefly the
benefits of coconut oil. Eating coconut oil can help you lose weight, boost your
metabolism and it gives you more energy throughout the day. So I'm assuming that
you would eat less and you would crave less junk food. It can improve memory and
concentration. Eating coconut oil can naturally whiten your teeth so those of
you that want white teeth, check it out. It removes excess bacteria and it reduces
plaque buildup. It can also improve cardiovascular health, hinder the growth
of cancer cells. Wow there's just so much but let's just go straight to the point
because this video is about hair. It can help you grow healthier hair, skin and
nails. The fatty acids naturally present in coconut oil nourish and moisturize
from the inside out. Not only that but these same fats increase your body's
ability to absorb vitamins A and E which are essential for skin, hair and nail
health growth. Coconut oil is amazing not just because it has my name in it, Coco.
It's just everything. It's like gold. So you guys need to get on this. I would
recommend the natural way of taking it. It's the best probably. It just has this
strong scent. This, yeah it's so much easier to take. I'll try to find links
and link it down below. Let's all do this together. Next is what I routinely take.
So this is red ginseng and it comes in these little packets that are very
convenient to take around. I usually take this with me on shoots. Guys, there's
this like water draining sound. I'm back guys. Sorry for that. But yes, this. I take
this on a daily basis. Red ginseng is also amazing for skin, hair and health.
It prevents aging, improves complexion, it tones the skin, fights against skin
diseases, for hair benefits, increases hair growth and it prevents hair loss.
I hope you guys like this video. If you guys do try any of my tips, let me know
if it's working for you guys and let me know some of your guys' tips for good
and healthy hair. I love to hear from you guys and you guys all know that I always
read every single one of your comments. I'll see you guys in the next one then.
Bye! Oh and also leave any requests that you guys want to see in the future. Bye!
I was actually getting ready to take off all my makeup and sleep but I just got
really thirsty. So I wanted to remind you guys, drink a lot of water too. It's the
most important thing. Keep yourself always hydrated because if you're dehydrated,
even your hair is going to be as well. Always make sure to drink a lot of water.
Okay, bye! For real now, bye!
you
