Ladies and gentlemen, we have just landed at Luxor Airport.
Heading to Egypt today. Bye! I'm here in the UK. Jasper is traveling from the Philippines
but the plan is we are meeting up in Luxor, Egypt. My journey there was pretty smooth. Jasper,
on the other hand, he had some problems. I'm currently lining up. The funny thing is
the tour that I am actually asking to help me out did not send me any papers at all to prove that I
do have a tour guide in Cairo. They're also asking if I have a visa to Egypt. So the questioning
begins. I'm still stuck. They're processing the paper. It takes so long. I've been passed around
for I don't know how many times. From this to there. They said to go there, to go back, to go
here, to go there. I've been passed around like crazy. I don't know. This, my friend, is one of
the things that people don't see. It's difficult to travel as a Filipino. You can't really just
get into the country. You need all these papers to prove that you have money. You have a ticket
going back. It's a little update. I think they're letting me in but I have to write a letter saying
that in case the Egyptians will deport me, that go fair is not responsible. Signed, Jasper.
I literally am required to do that. I don't know why. Just in case I get deported. It's not an easy
life. Finally let me in. Finally got into Egypt. The tour said someone will meet me up here before
the immigration. Not sure. So the guy from the tour did not show up but they're laughing because I don't
have a visa. What is your friend? He's here already. Jasper.
Got a taxi.
Welcome to Third World Driving. We're going to a friend of Mars here in Cairo. Sleep in there
for a night. Maybe spend a church tomorrow. Then we're going to Luxor. I think this is him. Yep.
Hey man. Jasper, nice to meet you sir.
Welcome to Cairo. Yeah, it's nice driving in it, right? Yeah, it's very like an India vibe in it.
Gonna be a battle of the dish. Hey man, thank you. God bless, God bless. Thank you.
Eating all the best, bro. All right. See you hopefully on Tuesday. Yeah, right on.
Thank you man. See you.
Look at this traffic, bro.
Airport. We're going to Luxor today. A very good driver. Yeah, thank you. Oh, that was nice. I like
him. The other dude, first night we went here, we got ripped off. Last night, went to get a taxi,
ripped us off, asked us for 40 bucks. Today, it's only 10 dollars. It's crazy. Anyways, it worked
out well. I don't know. Where are we going? I am not sure. Luxor for sure.
We came in a little bit early and there's no, there's no food in this
terminal. I mean, there's some coffee shops and stuff, but I'm hungry, bro.
Eden brought some, some snacks.
Thank you. I've just landed at Luxor Airport.
Early morning here in the Nile River. It's beautiful. I wish we had the drone.
Okay, see you. Yeah, should we go by train?
That'd be quicker. Yeah, but it would be nicer if we could.
Yeah.
We have it to ourselves for the next few minutes. It's near the Valley of the Kings,
I believe, which is like this way. And apparently, that's tourists' favorite.
As in, they go there first and then they come to Hatsheput afterwards.
Oh, we're here. One of the temples. I think one of the hardest thing here is just there's so many
people. There's always people in the shot. That's a struggle. What happens when you said you don't
speak English? So people here are technically, they'll ask you money. Hey, can I take a picture?
And they'll ask you money or they see gears like this. They'll be like, no, you can't shoot with
that. And so the guy was just coming at me and I was like, no English. No English. He left.
Yeah, this is the last, the last shot of this temple. And after here, we go to the Valley of
the Kings. 240 per person. Okay, we change dollars.
I just stopped off at a nice driver. He basically asked us if we wanted to change money. And we
said yes. And he brought us to this place. It seems quite nice. I think what he's doing is
kind of helping his friends out with the driver.
Can you tell us why the other tombs are closed? Why? Because this is how to discover.
There's tombs that we want. What was that again?
So all the things that we wanted are closed? Yes. And it will always be closed?
Because they're discovering more? How long was it closed? Six years.
For six years it was closed? Yes. Oh, but they have opened a private
opening. They want this to be open provided it costs you 10,000 pounds.
So we are done filming in, what do you call this, the east side of the east side of the Nile?
It's probably one of the most stressful stuff. Basically, we've been forced to stop just
because it's so stressful. And I've been to North Korea.
It's beautiful, it's just you cannot enjoy it.
This is for free? Free, yes.
What's your name? Ahmed. Jasper. Jasper.
That's awesome. That's awesome.
Bro, it's so hard to film in Egypt. Yeah. Can we just leave?
