New Ferns | Walmart Pottery | Fiddle Leaf Fig Update

Starting things off in this weeks vlog I popped into Lowes looking for some Rabbit's foot ferns that I need for a future project. Then off to Walmart for a look at the spring 2019 pottery collection. I have to say I was impressed by the style, quality and prices of this year's planters. Of course I grabbed a few pots and did a mini haul to show them off. I forgot to show several things, like the new Zinnia seeds and Canna pretoria rhizomes as well as a small white pot with rose gold polka dots on it. I did show off some terrarium scaping supplies and the Maidenhair ferns I'll be using in the terrariums. Lastly it is finally time for an update on my Ficus lyrata ( fiddle leaf fig ). Last fall this houseplant suffered total defoliation due to some unexpected cold. Three months later the Fiddle Leaf Fig has fully recovered. This gave way to discussing how to grow fiddle leaf figs and how easy they actually are as houseplants.
