Hello beautiful! Are you pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant soon? If so, stick around
because I'm breaking down all the things you need to know between 14 and 15 weeks of pregnancy.
Coming up!
Hello, hello and welcome back to my channel. If you're new here, my name is Nicole.
I'm so happy to have you here on this channel. I'm sharing all the great
tools, tips, and strategies to help make your life easier as mama. So,
if that sounds like something you're into, do me a favor and hit the subscribe button below.
Yes, indeed, my friend. The second trimester is absolutely the good life. I am almost 16 weeks
and I am finally, finally, I believe in the clear from being sick. I'll have one or two bad days a
week but oh my gosh, I'm so happy. I'm so happy. Along with being clear, my energy is returning
which is such a beautiful thing. Getting my booty up, trying to move more, trying to get some decent
workouts in. If you happen to be one of the poor unfortunate souls who is still sick into your
second trimester and you haven't caught my previous pregnancy videos, hot tip. I didn't know this. This
is my second pregnancy, technically third, but second viable pregnancy. Cucumbers. I prefer
cucumbers with balsamic vinaigrette but cucumbers on their own, I assume, would also do the trick.
It has been a godsend and I've tried just about everything else to help with the nausea.
By far, cucumbers have been the most effective food that I've consumed to settle said nausea.
So, check that out if you haven't done that. So, again, I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow at the time of
filming this, although there's a delay by time this goes up on YouTube, but this is where I
finally popped. So, I have a little belly and I'm gonna insert some shots for you guys at the end
of this video. So, that's fun. Now, this is about the time I start to wonder if I'm feeling baby.
It hasn't been like a clear, oh my goodness, it happened yet and this is, again, the second time
I'm experiencing this. But the first couple times you feel your baby, you're really like,
did I just feel my baby? So, I think that I am starting to feel baby but it just is not
very pronounced yet. So, that's exciting. You might be feeling some flutters in your belly around this
time. I felt Kai, my four-year-old son, very early. I want to say I was about 15 weeks or so when I
first felt him. So, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening now. So, by this time,
you've probably gone through your first trimester scan. If you chose to do that, that's where they
do the ultrasound and they are looking for any markers of Down syndrome. And I had that ultrasound
completed about two weeks ago. So, in fairness, our healthcare system is really inundated at the moment
with everything happening globally. But the poor tech I ended up with could not get the images she
was looking for with this. It ended up being a 35-minute ultrasound. I have never been, I mean,
you know, you're really excited to have the few ultrasounds that you do. But I was like, all right,
girlfriend. We're gonna need to wrap this up because baby's not having it. I'm not having it.
I'm tired of you juggling my uterus, telling me to jump up and down, turn to the right, turn to the
left, go pee. Like, we're done. We are done. You can't squeeze any more of that gel on my clothing.
We are calling it quits. The plus side of having a ridiculously long ultrasound was that I ended up
with, wait for this, all these beautiful pictures of baby. I mean, there are a thousand because
she kept taking pictures. So, I have an entire scrapbook worth of photos from my baby
when he or she was about 13 weeks old. So, as promised, I'm going to insert these belly shots
now so you can see my little pop. So, this dress I'm wearing, it's a little hard to see because
this is like super loose fabric. But here's baby. You're probably like, oh cool, you ate a burrito.
But, you know, you could see there's a little something going on in there. A little something,
something. All right, beauty. I hope that was semi-informative. And as always, I want to know
your experiences. So, how far along are you? Or if you've already had your little one, like,
what were your symptoms? What were you going through at 14, 15-ish weeks of pregnancy?
Had you popped more? Had you felt the baby? Let me know. I love discussing this with you guys
in the comments section below. I will catch you in the very next video. Thank you so much
for watching and have a beautiful day. Bye.
