Arrowhead Vine || Syngonium Podophyllum || Supreme Houseplants
All about the Arrowhead vine / how to grow Syngonium podophyllum. Syn- Nephthytis
The Syngonium podophyllum is a supreme houseplant. These plants have the look of an Alocasia but are much better suited for indoor gardening. In this video I try to cover just about everything that came to mind for how to grow this houseplant. Syngonium podophyllum is nice for growing in the house because of it's love of lower lighting and ease with watering. Though these houseplants like to a lot of water, they will be forgiving in some situations if they are left to dry for a short spell. the arrowhead vine's foliage may wilt but as long as they are watered soon enough they will spring right back. Arrowhead vines are a great plant to grow with ferns since they are all houseplants that enjoy low light, higher humidity and frequent watering.
Propagating Arrowhead vines / propagating syngoniums is very easy. These plants offshoot enough to take many cuttings and divisions for rooting. I tend to think the Syngonium podophyllum is one of the best houseplants and possibly up there as one of the easiest to grow houseplants.
