(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Manchester United - Southampton

We're at the home of Manchester United as they aim to bounce back after their humiliation at the hands of Liverpool last week in the Premier League. Manchester United against Southampton and all the action coming up shortly. Well away we go, last Sunday's loss to Liverpool will remain long in the memory of Manchester United. Yeah a player who is good at resisting the press normally. Alcaraz, a bit of room, Alcaraz, tidy feet and then a teammate got in his way actually. But it's back to Perrot, it's loose from Manchester United, they might be punished for it. No because De Gea is there to keep out. Sliding in Casemiro, not a clean one. A Brazilian much in the way of argument from him. And I think that's your point Seb, whether it's unfortunate when he hits the ball you've got to have control and I think that's the the reason that he's being sent over to the monitor. Well a decision here for Anthony Taylor, what's it going to be? The jog is slow and the red card's going to come out here. Casemiro not for the first time this season, sees red. So will it be Fernandes or Shaw? It's Fernandes, it's a brilliant delivery, it's a brilliant save from Busunu. It's all about the delivery isn't it, brilliant save. And Walker-Peters was a bit worried there but there was no Manchester United player there. Rashford beaten by Walker-Peters and Walker-Peters, oh and it's off the line, it was almost an own goal. Manchester United escaping there. The own goal but it's just as he squares Rashford up here, does so well and this is where you can't touch him. Once he gets into penalty areas it pulls back. We've been here before with Southampton's free-kick master. Oh and it wasn't that far away, click of the crossbar was audible. Wow the technique, sublime. He's taking this corner, Shaw, all cleared. Anthony, I think he thought about hitting that first time. Well that's loose from Wan-Bissaka again and Walcott is away. Martinez trying to get back at him, Walcott, big chance, wasn't convincing and De Gea owes the opportunity. It's a big miss for me, seeing these passes, wasn't convincing that headed clearance but once he gets clear here he has a look, he touches that one there, he needs to go across and Martinez once he gets back onto his left foot I always feel like he's not confident, it's closed, he waits, De Gea stands up. Shaw, Rashford, Shaw, sharp, Shaw, Dierks to shoot, does shoot, so close, was there a touch from Bizuno. I just feel like now overloaded on the edge of the area, if they go short. And they do go short, Walker-Peters, allow room to shoot, off the post, how many chances, they've got another one here and it's behind for a goal kick. Surely the last chance, Ward-Prowse sends it in, Maguire is there, well one of the most entertaining goalless draws you'll see, chances for both sides, numerous chances for both sides.
