(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Everton - Brentford

This is Ian Crockett with James McFadden at Goodison Park, where Everton host Brentford in the Premier League. Brentford have been a fresh air from the moment they arrived in the Premier League, and they bring a 12-match unbeaten run to Goodison. The team they have to face today, but they have to make sure it's all about them, and how they respond, how they play. You listen to the crowd, they're still right behind the players. Here is Decore, there might well be an early opening. And it opens up for them. It was a fast start from Brentford to get it forward, down the right-hand side, Demaree Gray chasing the ball, and he's got no right to get on the end of. He does enough to force it, what a pass it is from Alex Obi first time. And when it comes to Dwight McNeil, the first touch to get on his left foot, and it is an arrow into the far corner. It is a dream start for Everton. What a goal it is from Dwight McNeil. You get a good view of it from this side. Little touch, shifts it on to the left, drags it beyond Riyer, what a goal. Coleman. Decore out. Iwobi! Unable to steer it in, and that could have been two inside 20. Good play again down the right-hand side. It's just fired in first time from Iwobi. Idrissa Gay. And he's picked out. Demaree Gray, and it was a good pick-out. Gray! Riyer just about blocks it. Grace corner. Will it fall favourably here? Iwobi almost turned it in! And it's been put wide by Unana. It's a great save, another dangerous delivery. That's a brilliant save, that really is. Alex Iwobi just turns and hits it, first time. Riyer's alert to it. Jordan Pickford sending this in the direction of Keane. Who made contact? And it looks like this is going to be disallowed. Simon Hooper has had instruction, and handball is given against Demaree Gray, and it stays at 1-0. And Bomo swapping sides with Damsgaard for now. Hickey. Janil sends the cross in! Henry's header, remarkably kept. What a massive moment. And Bomo then to ask the question again. Oh, it's right in there! And Ethan Pinnock waiting to pounce, but it was cleared by Dwight McNeil. Comes to try and collect it, he gets it all wrong. Dwight McNeil in the right position. Great defender, you have to say. Flipped on by Wisser, gives it away.
