As we become successful, earn more money, and upgrade our lives, we don't find ourselves growing steadily happier on a day-to-day basis. Instead, we find ourselves on the "Hedonic Treadmill," as our desires and tastes rise to match our advances.

So how can you actually make your average day more enjoyable? How can you become an overall happier person?

Today, I'll share five habits that make me happier every day. Adopt a few of these, and you'll find your average day improving as well.
