Tropical Plant Haul || Planning This Year's Garden
It's no follow me around walmart but i enjoyed this week's video because it gave me the opportunity to lay out the plans for designing and planning this years landscape. Planning a garden can be daunting but when broken down into steps it isn't too bad. This video is largely my thought process behind starting a garden. There are lots of trees and shrubs and to be pruned and/or removed but that is going to leave a larger blank canvas to work with and fill with plants! ...some tropical but mostly perennial. The plant haul is a fun one! Just a small tropical plant haul or even a houseplant haul depending on where you live, any of these plants can be grown indoors. The lovely hibiscus are my favorites so far! Hibiscus are easier to grow outside than growing hibiscus indoors, but it can be done. The rest of the plants include: Australian Tree Fern, Firecracker Fuschia, dragon's wing begonias, canary wing begonia, tri-color jade succulent ( excellent houseplants! ) and a cute little Meditteranean fan palm / European fan palm - Chamaerops humilis. Comment below if you have any favorite bamboo varieties hardy to zone 5! There are a lot of cold hardy bamboo plants to chose from. Oh... isn't the pink lemonade hibiscus pretty!? So cute referencing Lemonade for a flower name, love that!
