It is true to say that parenting styles will shape their kids' personality as they grow up.
In this society, it is easy to recognize some groups of growing kids with quite distinct characters. One group extremely feel unhappy on their inside although their life seems perfect to others. One often acts inconsiderate and doesn't know the limits. Other group bravely expresses the opinions; develops the strength to endure hardship or continues following their interests and passions. Other lack trust in themselves and others. And one group doesn't want to solve difficult problems or lack perseverance.
These consequences are from 5 parenting kinds. This video is so useful for us to self-examine clearly what kind of parents are and how their kids' personality will be shaped. And parents need to remember the balance of demandingness and rêsponsiveness in teaching their kids.
