Sylvie Guillem - Jardin aux Lilas (Lilac Garden)

Sylvie Guillem performs Antony Tudor's choreography Jardin aux Lilas or the Lilac Garden. The story is set in Edwardian times and is about a lady who has to marry for convenience, not love. She is at an evening garden party, saying good-bye to her friends, and especially to her lover. Jonathan Cope performs her lover, Christopher Saunders is the Man she must marry and Nicola Tranah is the woman from the past.
