What is Disney World like right now?

Hi guys, welcome to a new vlog. Today we are going to Epcot. I know, we're so excited because this is our first time back in a park since the whole coronavirus. February, I broke the date down. I'll let y'all know later what the date is. But anyway, I want to show you my little outfit. I'm wearing the rose gold ears, this cute little rose gold necklace. February 3rd was the last time we went to Epcot, and today it is August what? 14th. 14th, so it's been quite a while. And this is my little outfit. Want to show your outfit? No. I'm keeping that in there. I think I also forgot to point out that I'm wearing the rose gold ears. Oh, I think I did say that. But I didn't show you guys my mask. This is the good kind, but it's a white one so it'll match everything. And I like these because they're not right up against your lips. They kind of give you some breathing room, so I'm gonna have Mallory take my picture. And I got my hand sanitizer right in here. I got my mask. Her mask. That I always wear. She wears double. I wear double. For double protection. And look at her little, oh I forgot we still had those. Yep, we do. They're little gift cards. Well, what I want to do is I want to get money on it so I won't have to be touching my billfold. Okay, so funny story. You know how these ears, they can be really tight and hurt your head, give you a headache? So I always like stretch them out and I just broke them. Mallory started cracking up over there. But whatever, I'm still gonna wear them because now they just rest on my head so easily, like, or so loosely now that they don't hurt my head anymore. Oh man. Okay, so we have the person there checking your annual passes or like you pay him. So he's wearing like a face shield. Okay, it's gonna be our turn pretty soon. All right, so we are heading into the park. We got really good parking. These ears, I don't know. They're doing okay, but we'll see. Um, we're gonna go in. I think we're gonna have our temperature checked and then we don't do the finger thing anymore. We just tap our magic band or our card, which I have a card. Here we go. Oh, and by the way, it's super hot out. Here's a little COVID-19 warning sign. Here's another sign. Mallory's also taking pictures for her. Oh, you're not taking any pictures of this one? Why not? Right, for your Facebook. So we are walking up to get our temperature taken. Good, how are you? Thank you. We're about to go in and Valerie wants to get a picture of the sign. I also wanted to show you guys. So this is the Taste of Epcot. It basically started the food and wine festival. All right, so Valerie and I just got our photos in front of the Epcot Mall. There's still a lot of construction going on as you guys can see, and there's tons of hand sanitizer stations. Here are some updates that are going to be going on. There's so much construction. For the health and safety of everyone, please wear a face covering at all times, except when actively eating or drinking while stationary. Wash your hands often and thoroughly. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, and maintain physical distancing. Thank you for your cooperation. They have that playing around here just to remind people. So much construction. Look at all this. We are now heading to the Disney member lounge, the DVC, Disney Vacation Club member lounge. That's where Sherry works sometimes, so we're just gonna go meet up with her and visit her. Oh hey, look, other vloggers. Hello. Valerie and I were just commenting on how empty the park is. Like, there's no one here. It's crazy. Honestly though, I would love to just jump in that right now. It is so hot right now. Man, so quiet too. Here is the figment area. No one working at this booth. People come up here and take the time. Wave hi, Sherry. There we go. So quiet around here. We are heading towards the World Showcase, and hopefully there's food and wine available, right? I would hope. It really is weird here. It's definitely different. A lot less crowded. It is Friday that we are here. I'm really excited for the food and wine. Hopefully, Canada has some good stuff. I love the Canada food pavilion place. But first, we're gonna put some money on Valerie's gift card so she doesn't have to use any cash or cards. And you do that here. Enter here. All right. It has been forever since I've been in a Disney store. Look at this. A lot of the same stuff we got here. Round little Mickeys. Oh, here's some face mask coverings. They have a lot of designs. They have different sizes. If you watch my video, we got the wrong sizes, obviously. So they got a lot to choose from here. Got some new designs here. It's like the Disney art collection. So that's fun. Very creative. Of course, they have the exact exit sign. So I guess we just exit here. So if you go in this building back here, there's some specialty beverages, I think. Let's see what it is. I want to kind of see. Do you want to see, Valerie? I have actually never been in this building, but this is where prom was held for one of the schools. Look at it. Interesting. It's air conditioned in here. Wizard of Oz thing. Then I have been in here. I was with you. Oh, okay. Then this is where it was. Okay. The Wizard of Oz thing. Cool. Very low lighting. It's really chill. It's a chill vibe in here. And then there's different stations all around. Oh, mac and cheese. Desserts and champagne. Festival favorites. Wow. And then they have the four markers for social distancing. Pretty neat in here. Okay, Valerie, tell us what you got. I got some kind of sweeter champagne. Sweeter champagne. It has some boba in there. And then I got this red wine. It is a Zinfandel of the red family. I hope it's not too, too dry, even though dry stuff doesn't really bother me. We're just gonna sit here and chill. There's someone playing a piano over there. Sherry got off work and she's joined us for a drink here. What'd you get? It's called red wine conundrum. It's like a blend. Cool, cool. And we're on our second round here. Well, heck. Sherry, how's work? Now we're in daylight. It's great. Good. We're gonna head on over to Canada and get our favorite little meal. Excited, Valerie? I am. It would be filet with mushroom and the Canadian cheese soup. So good, so good. Mr. Bird is like, I want some food. There's Valerie. But we got our beef and it's like filet mignon and our cheddar soup. Sherry's going crazy over here. We all got the same thing, but we love the Canada meal, um, drinks, food, and wine. It's so good. We just got these ornaments because Flower and Garden actually didn't happen and we thought that this would be kind of a cool, I don't know, memento. So it's just Flower and Garden. It has 2020 on it and that is what the mothers are doing over there. The Flower and Garden festival merch is all like the orange bird. You got it, Valerie? Yep. The France restaurant, um, is not open so that's really sad. Sherry just told me that, but as you can see there's no one in there. Crazy. Look at how bare it is. There's some entertainment on the stage there, but overall it's very bare here. There's crazy lightning too. Look at that. Holy moly, look at how empty this part is. This is Germany. It's only 8 30. It's only 8 30. Wow. So insane. Here is Germany. Barely anyone here. So bare. Just a gorgeous shot. Look at how pretty this is, guys. China restaurant doesn't look like it's open either. Oh, that lightning. Okay, Valerie, what was your thought? We were just saying how it was just really different. It was different. Boring. Yeah, there's not a lot of stuff open. It wasn't really very fun. Right, and it's really hot with the mask on. Yeah, it'd probably be more fun if we do dinner when we're having our Saratoga Springs thing. It's not Saratoga Springs now. Oops, that's not where I turned. Don't tell Sherry I did that. Okay, I'm telling her. I know. All right, so anyway, I think that's going to be it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
