DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MUM AND ALLOTMENT HOLDER UK

Good morning everybody. Today is Sunday. I thought I would do a little vlog today. So we are going to play tennis this morning because it's actually not raining outside and the kids have been really restless so we thought we would get out as a family and go and play some tennis. So I'm going to take you along to that this morning and then later on I think we are probably going to go to the allotment. I need to drop a couple of things off and Dave's obviously got the like wood chip and some compost and stuff so that's really exciting. Well for me anyway, I don't know how exciting it is for you, who knows. But yeah so right now I'm just getting ready to go to tennis. I can hear the kids playing already and they're already like fighting. They were fighting most of yesterday as well which was just ridiculous. But what are you going to do? I think they just kind of lose the pull a little bit on weekends at the moment because they're like so stressed out at school and stuff but then when they get home they're kind of like, it all just kind of comes out. I think it's pretty normal. I think they're just a little bit restless so hopefully getting them to tennis this morning will just kind of like chill them out and just give us a bit of a nicer day than yesterday because yesterday was a bit insane. Oh god I can hear them. Mum? Yeah? You know what? What? Some new pictures have been coming onto my ipad. Right. For every day. Oh have I linked my iphone up with your ipad again? Is it daddy's? What kind of photos are they Tom? Well. Is it pictures of me in the bath? Yeah. Or is it weird pictures? And pictures of mum going like this. Is it just like fancy pictures of mummy? You've disconnected my ipad to your. Right. Is it all like fancy weird pictures of mummy? Yeah. Like with flowers around me and stuff. And it's not the pictures and it's pictures of you in the bath and pictures of you in the car. I did not take pictures of myself in the bath. Bath selfies Emma. I did. Not again. Come on. A doggy over there. He can't get in. No he can't get in. He just looked at me when I was doing it. Oh that silly dog. He looks at me. Well that's okay he can't get in. He won't do anything to you. We're just going to be in queue to get some bits for the allotment and we're going to drop them off at the allotment and I'm going to take queue with us. And I look like a complete knob. And I look like a knob again. Bringing the kids to the allotment. This is the first time that they've seen it in a long time. You're going to be so impressed. Ready? Ta-da. What do you think? That's our compost bin. In here look. All the tulips. They're all coming up. Yeah. Right you go that way then. Go on then. I love how they just explore. I love how they can just run around here and just explore it and just feel really free and like confident. Go on then you're doing really well. Oh no you went down the wrong one. Yeah. You got it? Go on then. Put your back into it girl. Come on. Give it some welly. Big bag of compost. Please take it. All right okay cool. Right kids don't get lost or anything. Stay on the paths. Don't go on anyone else's plots. Allotment people are very fussy about that sort of thing. Right so they're just going to drop these off for me today. Today I've got dropping off some compost and I've got a couple of bags of wood chip to finish my path. But they're just going to drop them off today and I'm going to do it in the week because it's just too muddy and we've got Sainsbury's delivery coming but it's always useful to have a man's help to help me drop off the heavy stuff. Alice is looking for you. No I won't find her. She's calling for you. Go and find her. She needs to find herself. What? Alice. Alice. Go and empty it out over there on that. Look at the state of that. You've seen Tommy in his shark outfit. He looks hysterical. Right empty that onto there. Bye bye ground sheet. This is the one that keeps coming up all the time. So annoying. You! You get me I'll get you. Just making roast dinner for everyone You love roast dinners. No I hate them. No you don't. So we've got the roast potatoes and I've got some carrots and broccoli and then in here we have got pigs in blankets because I felt like we needed it today and we've got a big chicken in a bag. Big chicken in a bag. What do you think of that? Oh are you all naked? Yeah okay. Please just divert away from me. I am naked. No don't say that. Right yeah so we've got a nice roast dinner today because it is Sunday and I do like to do a roast on a Sunday and then look at our fridge. It's like packed. It's like jam packed. It's not actually as full as it looks. It's because I haven't actually put things away properly. Like I haven't actually organised the situation. You need more hair. Um yeah so I've got custard and I've got a apple crumble for pudding. Do you like apple crumble? Yeah. Yeah you do. You want some apple crumble today? No I hate apple crumble. I like custard with mini rolls. You like custard with mini rolls. Oh you can have a mini roll with your custard. Okay all right that'll work. Um yeah so that is our lovely dinner tonight. That's what I've been up to basically this afternoon. It's just cooking cooking cooking cooking cooking. I'm so ready to summer. Early summer had the Not sure what that move is. Push the tree. Riveting content here. Oh my god I just started vlogging before I was actually ready to look at the camera. Um right time to do the bath for the kids. Look at the kids room. Look at this. Why? Why? Don't you see the kids room? No. All right well brace yourself. Brace yourself Harry. Right I'm doing my that's Harry Potter quote if you don't know. If you don't know you can't be my friend anymore. Right okay bath time. Oh god. The end of the tape. Singing and dancing in one vlog. Tom I'm gonna have to tidy your room now. Poor mummy. Oh poor mummy. I know he does anything interesting when you actually want him to and when you want to watch a tv show he doesn't shut up. Oh my god she nearly dropped her potter out. It's just not exciting is it? It's just like pots. Hey guys so it is the next day now. Um I've got Alice home with me today because she's not feeling very well which is why I end I kind of like didn't end the vlog yesterday because she ended up coming down the stairs with a bad tummy and like temperature and stuff. So um I couldn't end the vlog yesterday so I'm ending it today. I've got her home now. She's home from the school run and she's munching on a KitKat so I think she'll live.
