(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Man City - Newcastle

against newcastle united in week 26 of the perennial league season so manchester city hope to keep up the relentless pace five points adrift of arsenal after the gunners game in hand i'm setting up kevin de bruyne here just in a temptation to go for the shot it's come to work and it's over the roof of the net through greeley's cross and it could have been 1-0 to manchester city in a minute now that he's mixing his game up he's got a bit more end product about it makes him look so much more dangerous and this man's been banging on it as well phil foden and still he goes phil foden has got the goal four in three for him well he's recently talked about how it's been one of the most bruising spells of his career but he's through and he's back with a bang and he's taken manchester city 15 minutes to break through to touch him and go to ground once he gets into the box that's what he does brilliantly once he gets over that 18 yard line he knows he's in business he's caught around the corner here for wilson oh long stuff tonight the opportunity for an immediate response the latest lock switch the broiner harland a big chance there lovely ball in from the broiner they haven't come close to making this make a save from any of them here's willock now he's at his opportunity to run the record signing can't get there before edison who goes down okay swings it away corner newcastle fans paying for a penalty getting it forward moving again from alexander isaac who's done brilliantly he's kept that in beaten the kanji stands it up to the far post and then they're headed down from st maximally bates joe linton did great didn't he he's out there just to underline that point newcastle have actually had more touches of the ball inside the manchester city penalty area that city have here's greeley show if you can only poke it away so far just when they needed that oh silver comes off the bench and scores newcastle asking all the questions but it's manchester city who have the answers ball is scalped clear and it comes back to kieran tripier here that pass is a poor one and they play around and greeley strives inside into harland ball gets helped on he's got no room has he bernardo silver there hardly any room just to touch that out of his feet almost toe end it and it's a brilliant finish that you know that's a stunning hit and it will take manchester city if it stays this way back within two points of arsenal who are at home to bournemouth later newcastle would remain four points adrift of the top four it's one of their games in hand on top greelish poking towards harland getting it back setting up modan good save great run from jack rubish that so the best attack sees off the best defense to keep the pressure on arsenal on another afternoon when city fans got their fill
