Today we are at the Belvedere Box on top of Lookout Mountain in Georgia. I feel like I'm
standing in the middle of a cloud right now because we're really high on top of this mountain
and have this absolutely gorgeous view looking out down below. There are also three container
homes total on this property. We're going to be touring the 20-footer today but be on the lookout
for some future videos for the two other container homes and the same host also has this really cool
tree house. All of those other video links in the Airbnb booking links will be down in the video
description. Let's now hop into a full tour of this tiny 20-foot shipping container home.
Welcome back to On The Rocks on top of Lookout Mountain in Georgia. Today we're going to tour
that container home on the far right dubbed the Belvedere Box. I'm going to begin to make my way
down. If you do end up staying here I would pack on the lighter side because this path is a little
steep but let's now come to the first area. All three of these container homes have this mini
grill and pizza oven area. You can also scan this QR code for more info but here she is. Welcome to
the Belvedere Box. It's a tiny 20-foot shipping container home so it's the smallest of the three
homes here at On The Rocks in terms of square footage but it comes with this huge shed roof
which I think makes it look like twice the size that it actually is. There's also a long line of
string lights and this large main outdoor deck which I'll get to in a little bit. I'll now briefly
touch on some of the outdoor amenities here at On The Rocks. There are two shared fire pits. This is
one on the other end closest to the green container called Cloud 9 but we're going to go to
the one closest to the Belvedere Box shown here. I think you can rent out all three container homes
as a group or family or you can make some new friends. I'll quickly get a fire up and running.
There are five black chairs around this particular fire pit and a little cooktop. It was a pretty
misty and cloudy night when I stayed at the Belvedere Box but I loved how the string lights go
all the way from the container home down to the fire pit and my drone is literally flying through
a cloud right now. I checked and Lookout Mountain is about 2,000 feet above sea level so we're pretty
high up. I'll now give an overview on the surrounding area and the other homes real fast.
I really enjoyed how these container homes are very different from each other instead of just
being three of the same model but the one in the middle is called The Hanger. It is made out of
two 20-foot containers and on the right is Cloud 9. It's a modified 29-foot container. This is
seriously one of the best views I've ever had at an Airbnb. On top of Lookout Mountain, we are only
15 miles from downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee and I read online that you could actually view up to
seven different states from on top of this mountain and we're within only 25 miles of three
different state lines. So definitely a pretty diversified viewpoint and there's even a rainbow
in the background when I flew my drone once. Back at the Belvedere Box now, we're going to begin to
make our way inside to the interior of this container home. So I'm going to walk up these
stairs and this will take us to your outdoor deck and definitely the highlight of this space is this
huge outdoor swinging couch. You can't miss it. There are a ton of pillows and it's super
comfortable. You can easily fit two people on it. Heck, you could probably even sleep out here if you
really wanted to but it's really perfect to take in sunset. If the swinging couch isn't doing it
for you, there are two more of those black chairs on the other side of the deck and this is what
your view looks like directly from this area. I'll also definitely mention if you look right next to
the door, you can actually scan a QR code here and it will pull up the house guide. I've actually
never seen this before at an Airbnb. Really, really smart move by the host in case you forgot the link
to this info but let's now finally open up this door and go inside. Welcome inside of the Belvedere
box. Again, this is a 20-foot shipping container home so there's about 160 square feet of interior
space total. We're going to first start off in the kitchen. Considering we don't have a ton of square
footage in this Airbnb, I found the kitchen to be quite well equipped. You even have a little
stovetop and a tea kettle down here and then up top are some of the other basic kitchen supplies
like your coffee mugs, coffee press, and your utensils. There's even a personalized sign. You
guys know I love these things. Looking now more to the right, you can see your simple sink and I was
really impressed with this entire wall, how they utilized every square inch of space which you
definitely have to do in a tiny home like this. But there is a big microwave and then next to it
even more cabinet space which has some additional mugs and glasses. They even managed to squeeze
in your wine glasses that hang from this rack in the far corner. Next up, there are a couple of free
goodies from the host. They include some oats, some coffee beans, and some grits. I love the name of
the brand. It says the tiny house. There's even some personalized stickers with the Belvedere box on it
and a s'mores kit. Finally in the kitchen, if we look underneath closer to the sink, you'll find
this little chair. There's also a small white table that is against this wall that you can easily prop
up just like this. So I guess you could eat outside near the fire pit or on your outdoor deck. But if
you want to eat indoors, this is definitely an option here at your little table. Let's now head
on over to your bed. They somehow managed to squeeze in a queen mattress to this tiny shipping
container home, which definitely impressed me. There's also a bunch of pillows and beneath the
air conditioning units, you can open up this cabinet and inside there is an iron and a folded
up ironing board. There's even a couple of hangers back here. So a lot of things in this space.
On both sides of the bed, you can find some small nightstands. There's even a photo of a
waterfall above the bed, which I believe is nearby. And I cozied up amongst all the pillows and just
read the guestbook for a little. Let's now go and venture over to the final room in this tiny
shipping container home. So I'll slide back this door and this will then take us into the bathroom.
Over on the left is your beautiful shower, which is covered head to toe in this bright white subway
tile. There's then your toilets right next to that. And I really love the tiling on the floor,
very eye-catching. Next, the simple black and white color scheme continues.
Down at the far end, you can see one of those skinny bathroom sinks. And closer up, you can
find your mirror and some other supplies to do makeup. And that will do it for the bathroom.
Full video tours are now out for both the Hanger and Cloud 9. I also toured this same host tree
house. All booking links and video links are down in the video description. Thanks so much
for watching, guys, and I'll see you very soon for another Airbnb tour.
