Hey guys, what's going on? So I'm here in Payson, Arizona. Next we are going to explore
Horton's Creek Trail. It's a 6.7 mile hike and I'm so ready to... Come on, let's go!
4 miles. 4 miles to get there and another 4 to come back.
No, today I turned around.
Oh, today you turned around? Oh, ok. So I thought you were going to do 6.7.
So, ok, correction. Only 4 miles today. Let's get started. Juan! Say hi! Turn around.
Juan is here about to start exploring.
I'm so tired.
Ok, so correction. It's only 4 miles, not 6.7 like I said earlier. Still, 4 miles is pretty good.
So, we're getting started. Let's see how this goes. So, stick around. Join us.
Are you dying really? You're doing good, man. Keep going.
We're getting to this little cool waterfall, cascade, whatever you want to call it. It's so freaking beautiful.
You're going to love it. I love it. You want to see it? I feel like taking my clothes off and jumping in the water.
It looks so freaking cool. Should I?
It looks like people have their fireplace here when they come camping. This is so cool.
Nice shelter. I love it.
So, that was not the end of the trail. So, we're going to keep going after a little break by the water and we'll see where we end.
So far, it's been amazing. So, my expectations are met. But, there's still more to see. So, let's go.
We're almost there, Juan. We're almost there. Keep going. Help me.
So, we are coming to realize that it is four miles one way. Not round trip like Miguel told us in the beginning.
Because we're still walking. It's been more than two miles and we're not there yet. But, it's okay. I was due for a longer hike anyway.
Lately, I've been doing a lot of short hikes. So, I'm glad we're here. Juan, how are you doing, buddy?
It's not okay.
This is abuse. So, we're still here. Not to the end yet. So, yeah. Stay tuned because the end is going to be fabulous. I hope.
Horsies. Oh my God. That's a pretty one. Hi.
How's it going?
It's going great.
Awesome.
Now, it's cloudy. I really hope it rains. I love it when it rains and I'm hiking. I didn't bring my raincoat this time. But, it's all good.
We're getting close to the end of this trail. I'm so excited. I'm sweating. We're not there yet. We're almost there.
Miguel said we were here already, Juan.
Well, look at this water. This water is so clear.
Juan, come on. Let's go. We didn't come this far to only come this far. We're going to see this water.
I need a refill. So, I need to find that water. Whatever Miguel calls it.
How do you say water?
Venero.
Venero. Which means water coming out of the floor. I don't know.
It's like a channel. It's under the ground and the water comes out.
Did you fill your bottle?
I love it. Now, I want to taste the water. So, I'm going to get a little refill. Pull up so we can hit that.
I just got a refill from this water. It tastes so good. So clear. So cool. I love it.
Did you taste the water, Juan? You did? How do you like it?
So, it was four miles, but it was totally worth it, you guys. You need to make it out here.
It's just so beautiful. The only thing I need right now is for it to rain. If it rains, oh my god, it's going to be like the best day ever.
But if it doesn't, it's still pretty good.
Miguel, good job. Good job.
Miguel was the guide. He was the one who recommended this trail. You got a 10 out of 10, Miguel.
Yeah, it was good. I've never been here before.
The attraction is the nature. The water comes out of the mountain.
You have to do the Toilet Bowl Sprint. It's the same there, but all the water that comes out of the river comes out of nine veins.
Wow.
And guess what? It's starting to rain. Awesome. I love it.
So beautiful.
Nice trail. Definitely plenty of water. Hiking shoes are a must.
If you guys are not good with cardio, you guys are not going to make it.
My recommendation is taking breaks every 10-15 minutes. That way you guys don't die.
Also, come in the summertime. Summertime is always a good time to hike up in Payson.
Temperature is a lot cooler.
And as you can see right now, it's raining.
So you might want to bring a poncho or raincoat.
Bring a raincoat because it's raining really hard right now.
Good job Juan.
Now this is a perfect day.
Now it's raining and it feels amazing.
The best.
Super cool.
It's like 60 degrees now. No sun and the rain. It feels amazing.
So now my day is complete. I love it.
It's starting to rain a little harder.
And we still have another couple of miles to go.
So this is definitely an adventure.
So we survived the rain.
Look at Juan. Look at your shoes.
Anyway, we are coming to the end of today's adventure.
