Rep. Travis Couture urges House to fully fund special education

Rep. Travis Couture, R-Allyn, urged the House to adopt a striking amendment (153) that would have fully funded special education in Washington state.

House Democrats voted the amendment down.

House Bill 1436 passed on a 94-2 vote on March 2, 2023.
