Giannis Antetokounmpo (33 PTS) & Mikal Bridges (31 PTS) Duel In Brooklyn! | February 28, 2023

A couple seasons ago, and this year he is one of a handful of guys in the conversation for Defensive Player of the Year. Bridges in the corner, and it's the triple! Gave a hard body to Johnson, could not finish. Off the rebound from Claxton, Bridges in the corner, you've been... Going backwards and away from the ball. Yeah, it looked like Compton was kind of pushing him afterwards. Here's Giannis, all the way! ...from Giannis. 12 after 1, some highlight from Milwaukee though. Body count for Giannis, but the Nets still up 12 here. Nets turn it over. Here's Giannis, to the rim! ...to go, here comes Carter. Carter gives it up, Crowder loves it up! He's having another MVP caliber season. Bridges, off a tough angle. 13 for Bridges. He's 4 of 7 from the floor. Giannis... Shooting 27% from deep, a touch below his career average. Bridges, swooping in! You assume that at some point some are going to start going in, and it just... It wasn't meant to be here in Brooklyn. Giannis banks it in. Johnson looking for help, Bridges was there. Now gets to the corner, and knocks down the 3! Big shot by Bridges. Secures it for Milwaukee. All the way! Plus the foul. Transition, full head of steam coming right at you. Trying to slow him down, but there's not a whole lot you can do when he's got that type of momentum, that type of strength, straight line drive. ...left it short, Lopez to box out. Here's Giannis, Giannis all the way in, lays, plus the foul. Whether it's the full court, the half court, but when it comes to Datakumpo, in transition, you need a whole team to stop him. Building a wall, and he's just cutting right through everyone. You see the foul right there on Bridges. Is that who they ended up getting it on? Sample size for the last 6 games with this group, under 11 turnovers per game. Bridges, across his body, beautifully done. Awesome job by Klaxon, he was able to contest a shot while still tanked, staying attached to Brook Lopez off that play. Bridges, again! The kill, Bridges. Here's Bridges. Takes again, and Bridges is feeling it. And Albinette succeeded in that win against the Bucks. Here tonight, Sarah, but without that back-up 5 in Ben Simmons, as Giannis hits the step-back jump. Wolke has turned it over as well, but between that offensive rebound, 16 extra shots for the Bucks. Giannis Splash, himself, scored the Nets 18-7. He said, well, when I was in school, we were taught to do fractions, exactly. I got chastised at halftime by Mr. Webb. Bridges hits the elbow jumper. So I don't know if he'll still, you know, we'll have to check out if he comes to the next Bucks. Giannis gets the whistle, lays it in.
