Highlights: Bristol City - Manchester City | Emirates FA Cup 2022/2023

Looking for Bell and picked off by Akanji for Manchester City. We have Mahrez here, this is Calvin Phillips, who's gone for it. And he's smashed the bar! Barely more than a minute played. Great effort by Phillips. 67 seconds on the clock. Well slipped by Akanji and Bell is in behind him. This is Bell for Bristol City and Ruben Dias got across. To deny Sam Bell his big moment. Well, the slip here from Akanji and Bristol City were in with the pace of Bell in behind. Well covered by Ruben Dias. Really good covering from the Portuguese. It slipped as he delivered the pass but it still reached Riyad Mahrez. Back into Mahrez and in from Phil Foden. Brilliantly created Manchester City goal. Been a terrific, lively start to the Cup tie and Manchester City take the lead with a wonderfully created goal for Phil Foden. De Bruyne's through ball, Mahrez on the plate, Foden with the finish. And it's Bristol City nil, it's Manchester City won. With seven minutes played. Sights ahead of him. Lewis Sykes has gone to ground and Andre Mariner is not interested in that. The ball is still in play actually. And now there's going to be a free kick to Manchester City. Well, they're going to ask the question. Lewis on Mark Sykes went to ground too easily. Certainly went to ground too easily in the opinion of Andre Mariner. Down to Weiman. That's forced that to go behind. And it hasn't, it's kept in play by Scott. Weiman and the header from Sam Bell is wide of the post. Brilliantly done here by Scott to put Diaz under pressure and keep it in play. Weiman's cross is good but it's a difficult one for Bell. It's just curling behind him. De Bruyne's ball into Ake, Alvarez, Phil Foden is there and it's 2-0. And that should do it for Manchester City. De Bruyne with the pass into Ake. And Bristol City were unsettled and caught short as Foden hit this. Weiman's outstretched boot was the final touch. Debate, if you will, whether it was on target or not. But Manchester City lead by two goals to nil. Foden will want it, Weiman won't. Krulisz into De Bruyne. And De Bruyne has caught out O'Leary with a wonderful goal. Majestically done by Kevin De Bruyne. Just hit it so early and caught out Max O'Leary in the Bristol City goal. Manchester City have a third at Ashton Gate and it's a wonderful goal by De Bruyne. Foden the pitcher and he's found Bernardo Silva here. And here's Alvarez and it's blocked by Weiman. He's onside Bernardo Silva here. It's a good chance for Alvarez, good block too. And it remains 3-0. How are you doing? I'm everywhere. You need to get better people on the camera. Hard! I have a feeling there's going to be contender for top of the league. Let's give it a try. I think I've just fallen in love.
