Coral and Racha Islands A perfect day trip from Phuket Thailand

So I'm sitting here all by myself on the corner of this beach here on Coral Island and just thinking how lucky I am, how fortunate I am to be here right now and to be sharing it with you. Cheers from Coral Island. Hello everyone. Welcome back. We're going on another adventure in Thailand. I am on a day trip from Phuket to two small islands where we're going to do some swimming, some snorkeling and most importantly some island beach time with good friends. Stick around. It's another overcast day here in Phuket but it's supposed to be nice and sunny this afternoon and that's good because we're on another boat tour. We're going to Ratchan and Coral Islands. We departed from Shalong Pier on the southeastern side of Phuket Island on a 40 foot boat with 24 people ready for action. Our first stop will be Ratcha Island. The 24 kilometer journey will take about 45 minutes and there we plan to do a little bit of snorkeling. Then we're going to head back north up to Koh Hai or better known as Coral Island where we will hang out on the beach all afternoon. So let the journey begin. We nestled our way into Bungalow Bay, a beautiful little beach area well protected on both sides by beautiful rocky shores surrounding amazing aquamarine blue waters. We're going ashore to get some instructions from our tour leader. Before snorkeling come, 11 o'clock. One one kilo kilo. Come here and I have one hour you can snorkel here in this area. Okay 11 o'clock come here and now free time on the beach. See you later. Not tomorrow see you later. Yeah one one kilo kilo. I spent my free time putting a birthday video together for my good friend Charlie who lives in the UK. Oh ----. The video starts in Canada. I take a cold plunge. Happy birthday Charlie. And I pop up in Thailand. That wasn't so bad. Wait a sec where the hell am I? Excuse me. Hey can you please tell me where the hell am I? You're in Thailand brother. I'm in Thailand. At precisely 11 a.m we got back aboard the boat and found a spot just outside the bay to put on the mask and snorkel and get submerged. Due to an overnight rainstorm the water wasn't as clear as we hoped so this free diver provided some entertainment for all of us holding his breath 10 meters down for several minutes at a time. That was pretty amazing. What is your name? My name is Ali. Ali? After snorkeling we were headed northbound to Coral Island for some lunch and some highly anticipated beach time. Well we made it to their destination on Coral Island. Such a beautiful place. Beautiful sunny day. I'm in Thailand. You can't beat that. Off in the distance there you can see Phuket Island and if you look closely up at the top of the hill there there's the big Buddha where I was just the other day. Coral Island might be the ideal weekend getaway for local Thai families. However this could easily qualify as a tropical island paradise to anyone from the west. Only nine kilometers from Phuket and a 20-minute boat ride you could find that perfect beach getaway that will make you never want to leave. There's something about walking on a beach. It just is so natural. Such a good feeling. Lifts you up. The sound of the waves. Soft sand. Nothing like it. I guess snow is kind of like it. A little different temperature. The sun is super hot here in Thailand. 32-33 degrees. A couple more minutes in the sun and I'm going to be burnt. So I'm going to go for a dip. If you want. You can come with me. The water is amazingly warm. The sun, the sand. Just a perfect day here for this tour we have to Coral and Ratcha Islands. So if you're in Phuket and you want a good day trip I highly recommend you take the tour to Coral and Ratcha Islands. You can be doing exactly what you see. Unfortunately one of the major problems this world has right now is garbage and plastics. If you just look along this beach the stuff that's washed up on the shore it's truly saddening. But there's an old computer monitor washed up on the rocks. It's sad the way it is but I don't know if there's an easy solution to stop that. Stop selling plastic things. It is what it is. Now here's something different. They've got glamping tents right here on the beach. How amazing is that? Come here rent yourself a tent and spend the night here on Coral Islands. Each of them got little shower rooms in the back. You see that? So cool. And this I'm not really sure what to suggest that this might be. This could be the stairway to heaven or a highway to hell maybe. And for your Instagram posts here's the Instagram spot right here at the Coral Beach Club. Coral Islands. One of the prettiest little beaches in this part of Thailand. Over behind me they've got an Instagram photo shoot going on. Beautiful place. why does the rain always keep on pouring down when it's gray outside it really makes me wonder it makes me wonder when the trees gets untrusted when it's cold and don't they miss the leaves they left behind could it be to make the ground shine like gold until winter comes until winter comes it really makes me wonder it makes me wonder it really makes me wonder come the stars come to shine when it's dark from so far away and show us where we are it really makes me wonder i just wonder makes me wonder master she told me she said floyd it's my job suck the chrome off the trailer hitch suck the corn off the cob about to leave already packing come with me i'm not really asking we'll get away to a place where we don't know as the captain puts the hammer down we start our journey back to Phuket riding into the fading sun smiles on our faces we embrace the beauty of another day coming to an end our hearts are warm with new friendships made with like-minded adventurous people from all over the world together we were free of the distractions of modern day life as we share not only a day but memories that will last a lifetime i'm looking back eyes on the freeway bonnie and clive a classic cliche we're on the run this is what we waited for take my hand we'll make it somehow as always wherever you are wherever you go
