Xmobar Fonts Are Broken! Should I Change Panels? (Polybar?)

A recent update to xmobar has broken everyone's existing configs including the DTOS xmobar config. Version 0.46 of xmobar was recently pushed to Arch Linux, and this version now uses Pango styled fonts rather than Xft. And there is a big problem with this move!
