How can karate defend against bullies?

Well here at the school our karate program is an anti bullying program. Just remember this, if your child has great self confidence he won't get picked on. If a child has no self confidence and walks with his head down that is usually the type of people bullies pick on.

We make sure that all of our students feel confident about themselves and walk with their head straight up know that they don't want to pick a fight but if someone was to pick on them that they can defend themselves.

That's the whole philosophy behind Mergen Mixed Martial Arts, is to make sure that our students know how to defend themselves just in case.

You know how the boy scouts model is always be prepared, that's the way I want all my students to look at themselves, to always be prepared. You know you hope the worst never happens but if it does, we're prepared for it.
