Rep. McEntire's floor speech in support of House Bill 1028. It would allow many teachers to enter the workforce and improve student outcomes at a time when a lack of access to teacher certification programs is causing a teacher shortage in Washington state.

It would help fulfill our constitutional mandate to provide a good, quality education for our students, and benefit educators now, as well as educators of the future.
