Cardboard Rangoli/Diwali Peacock Rangoli/Re-arrangable Re-usable Rangoli/art and craft
This beautiful rangoli is really easy to make, reusable, rearrangeable and also affordable.
Hello! Welcome back to CreativeCAD. This is one more Diwali special tutorial and we are going to
see how to make this easy, rearrangeable and reusable rangoli using cardboard. Do let me know
what you think about this in comments and don't forget to check my blog www.creativecadcraft.com
for detailed tutorial as well as translation in other languages. And yes, don't forget to subscribe.
Let's see this tutorial. You will need cardboard. Take a big piece of cardboard and make a circle
using plate. Cut it. On the other piece, I'm making peacock design. Cut out that too.
Now making peacock feather design. Cut 15 pieces of this shape or as required. Let's make the ears.
Cut 6 pieces of the ears. Now I'll put some glue on outlines and I'll stick a thread on it.
You can even use twine or jute thread. In my texture making tutorial, you saw this technique.
Now this is how you can use it. Just like this, cover all the feathers and the ears too.
Now on the circle piece, I'm making few more smaller circles inside using some utensils.
I'm going to make traditional Sanskrit Bharti style design.
Now the same way, I'll stick thread on this design. You can make your variations.
Do this for entire design. So after drying, it will look like this.
Now I'll cover everything with glue and tissue paper layer.
We need to hide the cardboard as well as smooth out the texture.
I'm trying to do fusion of traditional dangoli with reusable and rearrangeable version
which will be really convenient for you all. You can easily use it for 3-4 years
and you can make few more designs and mix and match them each time.
Do comment and let me know what you think about this design. If you are new viewer,

Do the same with peacock, feathers and the ears. Let them dry. Now let's paint it.
I'm using acrylic pearl colors. You can use any type of colors. You can even use beads,
kundans, stones to decorate it. I'm showing you really affordable and basic version.
Now paint the thread with golden metallic. You can keep it white too
Now it's ready to arrange as you wish.
