The Dust Bowl is arguably one of the most important and tragic events in the history of the United States, causing widespread poverty and desperation among millions of Americans. But what really happened during this period? More importantly, what exactly caused the Dust Bowl?

The Dust Bowl refers to the series of massive dust storms that occurred in the 1930s and ravaged the Southern Plains region of the United States – specifically, parts of Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.
