15 BEST Budget Dresses _ Walmart, Target + Amazon _ Budget Summer Fashion 2022
Hi friends.
Today we're talking all about dresses
and I'm rounding up my favorite on a budget
from places like Walmart, Amazon, and Target.
I do have 15 to share.
I will have all of them listed below in the description box.
So let's get into it.
First up, number one is this yellow
off the shoulder maxi dress from Walmart.
And I love the color.
I wore it a few weeks ago
and I thought summer has officially arrived.
This is from the brand Scoop
and it also comes in a couple of prints as well as black.
It has a crepe feel.
You do have some ruffle details.
And the dress also has these side bows
that you can cinch in your waist.
It does make the whole dress feel ultra feminine.
Also, there is a half slip underneath,
so it's not see-through.
The whole dress has a little bit of stretch.
It's nice and comfortable.
It does have a three-quarter sleeve
and this is one that if you have to be dressed up,
you will not believe how comfortable this is.
Now I size down to a small in it.
I find that this runs a little big.
And I think this is a classic summer style
that I could swap out my accessories
and I could wear this dress for years to come.
Also, you know I love to see it.
This dress does have pockets.
So my next dress is from Amazon.
It's by the popular brand Zessica
and this is a brand new style this year.
It does come in a lot of other solids
as well as a few prints.
It is 100% rayon and it has a nice tier drape in the skirt.
And the upper bodice tier is a smock detail
all the way around and is a one shoulder.
So this does have an elasticized waist.
I did wear it with all black accessories
but a pop of color would look fantastic with this too.
And I just love dresses that can do double duty.
If I'm just wearing sandals and a beach tote
or I can dress it up
and this is definitely a dress that can do both.
Also last year's version of this,
I wore so much last summer.
It is a strapless style with the same type of smocking.
You do have a similar skirt.
It is comfy.
It has a great fit.
Either of them are awesome choices.
So I will link that one below as well.
And I did get both of them in a size medium.
Now white dresses are always so popular
and they will sell out pretty quick.
This one is from Walmart and it's made of 100% cotton
and it does have a beautiful eyelid detail.
It does have a puff short sleeve.
It goes in at the waist
and you do also have these darts at the waistline
which I think is really flattering.
Now this is more of a midi to shorter length
but it does have a slight high low in the back.
Does also have pockets
as well as a half slip to the bottom ruffle.
This also comes in a red and black.
I would have any of the colors.
Sizes available in this are extra small
through 3X.
I did get this in a medium.
Okay, although this technically isn't a dress
it is a top skirt style that looks like a dress.
So I thought I would talk about it anyway.
The two pieces are from Walmart in this polka dot print.
It is a polyester spandex.
It feels nice and light.
The top here has a flutter sleeve
as well as side ties at the waist that are adjustable.
It does have a nice square neckline.
And the best part is you can wear a regular bra with this.
And the skirt is smocked at the waistline
with a nice thick elastic.
And it does also have a double tier
little ruffle at the bottom.
This one's a little bit longer than a midi length on me
but I did get both of them in a medium.
They both have a very flowy type style.
These would also be great if you want to split it up
and wear this with your favorite pair of shorts.
Or if you want to throw the skirt on with a fitted tank.
This would also be a great outfit
if you want to throw in some fun summer colors
into your accessories.
All right, number five is from A New Day at Target
and it's only $25.
And this is probably a style that everyone needs
or already has something similar.
It is a polyester rayon blend.
And I saw something very similar for almost 200 bucks online.
This does have a straight silhouette
but with a textured vertical tone on tone striping.
It is a tank style sleeve.
So yes, it is wide enough for your regular bra.
This style here does have a side slit
and it's gonna look great with sneakers, a low heel,
your favorite pair of flip flops.
You could also throw on a cardigan with this
or a denim jacket, tie it around your waist.
This is a super versatile wear.
I personally would put this in the category
of essential summer style for most of us.
And this could be considered close to a maxi
depending on your height.
There's no pockets on this.
It does fit true to size.
I got this in my normal size medium.
And number six is the color block style from Time & True.
This is a lightweight cotton blend.
It feels like your favorite t-shirt.
It also does have a high low hem.
It's a tank top style.
So another one that you can wear, yes, a normal bra with.
Can y'all tell that that's important to me?
It does have a scoop neckline
and this one I have here is in the khaki and orange.
There are a few other color combos under the link
including a really fun summer fuchsia pink.
Normal price on this is already under 20 bucks,
but this is actually on clearance right now for $11.50.
And speaking of dresses on sale,
I'll link a few of my other picks that are on sale right now
that didn't make it into the video.
All right, number seven is from Amazon.
This is from one of their house brands, Amazon Essentials,
which I always find to be really reasonably priced
and higher quality.
This is around $28 and it's a horizontal stripe tank dress.
You do have these nice wide straps and this feels dreamy.
It's a rayon spandex.
It's nice and thin.
This one is definitely a maxi style.
It does come in some solids and another print or two.
I actually love this so much.
I already picked it up in the purple,
but the French stripe is just a classic.
You can pair it with your favorite sneakers
or like how I have it here with white accessories.
This would be another one
that you can throw your favorite crop jacket on,
take it right into a cooler season.
All right, number eight has been so popular,
I think because it looks really trendy for the season.
It is from Walmart and the black here is limited stock,
but it does also come in a couple of gorgeous prints
that have been restocked.
This is a cotton with some spandex.
It does have a full long sleeve.
It does also have a button front.
As I'm saying, it has a button front.
I realized that it has been unbuttoned the whole time.
I will be right back.
A few moments later.
Okay, that's better.
It does have a button front as well as side pockets.
And this one I would definitely say has a more full,
not a body contoured skirt.
So it's really nice and cool for hot weather.
You do also have this flat panel
and a gathering at the waist that I find very flattering.
It hits me about mid thigh or so,
and I'm almost 5'3 for comparison.
I did get this in a medium.
And number nine is something in the very popular cheery red.
This is a color we're seeing a lot.
It's not your deep or even Christmas red.
This definitely looks like a lighter,
brighter version of that color.
And pairing it with a lot of pink
seems to be the popular color combo.
This is a crochet A-line dress from Walmart
with, yes, pink horizontal stripes.
This is a thinner tank style with a V neckline.
It has a straight but very relaxed fit.
And I loved it so much,
I also picked it up in the solid black.
Sizes are limited on this one,
but there also is a white too.
I would get whatever you can get your hands on.
And purely for weather,
this one might be my favorite of the whole haul.
And that is saying a lot.
The skort tennis skirt and dresses have made a huge comeback.
They were really popular last summer,
and I love the athletic style of this one from Amazon.
This is a nylon spandex,
so it definitely feels like athletic wear.
I'm wearing a large.
I would maybe size up if you're in between sizes,
especially since it's meant to be more snug on top
with a little more room at the bottom in the skirt.
It has a sporty crisscross spaghetti strap in the back
that is, yes, adjustable.
It has a built-in shelf bra,
as well as biker style shorts underneath
with a cell phone pocket.
I mean, this dress is doing all the things,
and I think this looks great with a belt bag and sneakers.
This is definitely how I will be dressing
all summer here in Texas.
And this style does also come in several other colors.
Another shorter style that I have
is this yellow dress from Walmart.
This one was a bit of a surprise for me
because normally I don't go near a baby doll style,
but the color just got me on this one.
It does also come in a black and white version
as well as the pink one.
And I really like this lightweight fabric.
It's 100% cotton, which is really nice for the heat.
It does also have this flutter sleeve with a V-neck line.
I'm honestly shocked,
but I ended up lo-lo-loving this dress.
I did wear it with some more natural accessories,
but honestly, more might be more with this one,
and it might be a chance to add in an even more bright color.
Okay, this slip dress is probably the it dress
of the summer.
More expensive versions are going for hundreds
and hundreds of dollars
with basically the same type of styling.
You have a cami strap with a long,
hugging but relaxed body and more of a flutter hemline.
This one is from Target for only $25.
Comes in a slew of other colors.
I did size up to this one in a large.
It has adjustable spaghetti straps
and is a polyester that does feel more like satin.
A relaxed fit, and this one also has a side slit.
I like the neckline on this,
which is more of a modified V-neck,
which always shows off your jewelry nicely.
And this is gonna look great with a flat sandal
or you can dress it up with a little kitten heel.
This one really already has such a feminine style to it.
All right, number 13 is from Amazon
and would be terrific to take on vacation
or for a little bit dressier of an event
like a wedding or just a day out.
It does have a ton of versatility and is super comfortable.
It is a one shoulder with a tie,
so that does make it adjustable
and it also has an elasticized waist.
You have a nice long tiered skirt.
And I went with the brown print,
which looks fantastic with neutrals.
But this is another one that had a ton
of other color options under this link,
including a black and white that I think is a can't miss.
And this one I did order in a medium.
And number 14 is just so flattering.
This black maxi dress is from the Amazon Essential brand.
And this color is around $26.
It's available in a lot of other solids and prints.
It's a rayon spandex blend with a deep V neckline
that does look like a wrap style.
And it's definitely a maxi length on me,
but even if you're taller,
this is still gonna be a long style on you.
It's nice and loose,
so there's nothing to stick to you in the heat.
There's no slits, just has a straight hem
and anything will go with this one.
But I mostly see myself wearing this with a flat sandal
or with a flip-flop just to be comfortable this summer.
This is one that you just need to roll up
and put in your suitcase for your next vacation.
And number 15, the dress that I love so much
that I already have gone ahead and ordered it in black too,
it's from Walmart.
And I just love the simple design of this dress.
It does have a bow cutout detail in the back
that I thought made it look like such a designer dress.
This is a cotton with 3% spandex.
So it's very breathable.
And by the time summer gets here,
I prefer to be in breathable fabrics,
especially if I think I might be outdoors.
And this is definitely a yes on that.
It does have adjustable shoulder straps
and a nice wide V neckline and a one-tier ruffle.
This one hits more like a midi length.
It's a tiny bit longer than that on me
because again, I'm 5'3".
Another style that has pockets
and I liked pairing it with light accessories.
And this is another example
of that trending brighter red color.
I just love the tone of this
and the fact that Scoop has started this
throughout their line this season.
All right, y'all, that's it.
That was a roundup of the latest in summer dresses
and all on a budget.
I would love to know if y'all are sticking with neutrals
as we get into the warmer season
or if you're stepping out with some of these more fun,
brighter colors.
Thank y'all so much for hanging out with me today
and I will see y'all in the next one.
