Philippine authorities celebrated on April 27 the inauguration of the cable-stayed #Cebubridge, one of the most emblematic bridges in the Philippines and one of the country's most important #infrastructure projects.

The opening of the bridge will bring numerous benefits for traffic management in the area, relieving the current congestion on the existing bridges by connecting the city of Cebu – the most important economic and commercial center of the Philippines after its capital, Manila – with the island of Mactan through Cordova.
