Beauty Tour_ Lynn Steven _ Vancouver, Canada

A little clean beauty boutique used to hide away in the hip neighbourhood of Gastown in Vancouver, Canada. When I visited Vancouver in 2016, Lynn Stephen was my favourite store with a great edit of clothing labels and a few beauty brands like RMS. When I came back to find her earlier this year, it was all about beauty. My kind of minimalist store, all white and natural light. Sadly, like my Glossier showroom beauty tour, Lynn Stephen has actually closed, not long after I visited, the lovely founder Nicole made the difficult decision to shut the store, but I still wanted to make this video to celebrate what was such a beautiful space and highlight the Canadian and international brands on the shelves. Take a look around. Fun fact for Jennifer Aniston fans, this store was used as a set in one of her movies. She worked here as a florist in the film Love Happens. Recognised any brands on these beautiful shelves? I discovered a couple of new ones I really liked, including the Canadian brand Sappho New Paradigm. I picked up a few goodies, so I'll be sharing more soon. I'm sorry the store isn't around for you to visit anymore, but given Lynn Stephen evolved in the past, I'm hoping Nicole might reappear on the Vancouver retail scene in future. See you next time!
