Last Minute Vlog: Buying Poinsettias at Lowes & Smelling Candles

This week’s last-minute Monday vlog starts with me at Lowes Home Improvement, my favorite place ever! Walked around the store, did some shopping and talked about poinsettias, even picked a few variegated plants out for myself. Also went by bath and body works and smelled some candles, admired some magic holographic glitter then went home. My basil has been especially thirsty lately, sometimes when growing herbs indoors and growing herbs as houseplants it can take a few weeks to find the rhythm they prefer with watering. Lastly, I talked about poinsettia toxicity. Are poinsettias toxic? Are poinsettias non-toxic? Are poinsettias safe for pets? I say no. Regardless of research and people eating their plants, if the sap is an irritant to mucus membranes, meaning mouth, throat and then can cause nausea, then don’t eat it. Just because it is non-toxic doesn’t mean it is 100% safe and should be done. Just my opinion, better safe than sorry.
