The Chinese spy balloon that flew over U.S. airspace and then was shot down is at the center of the world stage.

Many believe it may have collected confidential information from sensitive areas of the U.S. military. But it could even have gone a step further.

The spy balloon first entered U.S. airspace on January 28 in Alaska.
