Their gentle nature and large body keep African elephants away from danger from predators in wild animals. They have overwhelming power that makes any species terrified. However, due to the habitat in the "black continent" there are still fearless people, ready to punish anyone who makes a mistake. It was a wild dog - one of the most ruthless and cold-blooded apex predators in wild animals.
To talk about the hunting level of wild dogs, scientists rate them as the "top" species with an almost perfect skill set in wild animals. Even for skilled predators such as lions and hyenas, the hunting success rate is about 30%, while for African wild dogs, this rate is 80%.
However, the baby elephants are different, they have not had enough experience to survive and can only rely on their mother and herd to protect them in wild animals. Therefore, many times the wild dogs attack them, but under the strict protection of the mother elephant, the wild dogs always fail in wild animals.
But you know, predators aren't cowards that give up easily. In order to be able to provide food for the young in the herd, the wild dogs still did not give up the idea in wild animals.
