Australian Financial Review revealed shocking news on September 13 that a Chinese company, Shenzhen Zhenhua Data, had been collecting personal information data on 2.4 million foreign individuals.

Although most information in the database is obtained from open source websites such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, Liz Bourgeois, Facebook spokeswoman, has said that “Scraping public data, as this company appears to have done to a number of services including Facebook, is against our policies.”
Not all information in the database is obtained from open source websites, Some personal information from the database appears to have been obtained from non-open source origins such as confidential bank records, job applications, and even psychological profiles. The company is believed to have obtained some data from the "dark web” as well.

A city in northern China, Daqing recently Leaked a Document that shows The Chinese Regime is Targeting western Officials to influence in hopes to further the communist regime’s interests. The document is titled "100 Overseas Talent cultivation Plan Form". On the form, are the names of officials the Chinese regime seeks to influence or to “cultivate talent.”
Sam Sullivan, mayor of Vancouver, Canada, and Larry O'Brien, the mayor of Ottawa, have both been given these vacations. Sam Sullivan told the Vancouver Sun in 2006, "When I went to China, they treated me like an emperor."

For foreign government officials that the CCP doesn't like, they get a different treatment.
