Confucius is known as the first teacher in China who wanted to make learning available to everyone and helped make teaching a profession. He also set moral, ethical, and social rules that became the basis of Confucianism, which is a way of life.

Should we always be ourselves? which means we should know ourselves and plan our lives according to our personalities?

For example, we look for a compatible partner, and in school and employment, we need to do what suits us.

"Not knowing who we are" seems problematic. Fortunately, a personality test, counseling, or a long solo tour around the world to "discover ourselves" can fix this problem. because our genuine identities are buried inside.

There is no Western-style "self" in Chinese philosophy. We are more than our personality traits.

This Eastern "self" is always changing, losing, and gaining and is characterized by what we do, not what we are. It can be grown, but not found.

Confucianism encourages psychological self-cultivation. Confucius, its founder, felt ceremony could improve lives.

This video explores the art of improving yourself (self-cultivation) and knowing who you really are.
