The wind carries a beautiful song and by the fire our team ta-ra-pa-pa-pi-pa-pa
There is no fire in the forest and what is there to the left The
wind carries a beautiful song and by the fire the group is gathered
Hi We decided to make a loop inside our state stopping at national parks not crossing state lines and driving along the coast
We arrive 300 km and enter Big River Camp for the first time
Camping is charming and because there are no tourist crowds it gives us a feeling of vacation relaxation
The river is warm and not deep making it a great place for a family with children
Tourists are usually fewer during the off-season but this time we are surprised by their small number
We are saying goodbye to this place and giving it three stars out of five
We randomly chose the next campsite in Woko National Park
Upon arrival we are surprised by the well-maintained grass at the campsite and it's just as clean and well-kept as a five-star hotel
代言人在营地只有一名游客 我们站在一条小河边
We are going for a short walk in the adjacent bush
Not long ago the fires ended and it's already visible how the bush is recovering
We are going up to the waterfall
The interior environment is natural and there is no sign of human intervention
Some trees are broken some are burned but everything regenerates on its own
We didn't meet any tourists so we feel like explorers of this trail
After returning relaxation and a swim in the river and the place gets three out of five stars from us
We're packing up and driving 130 kilometers to Chia Falls Camping
We stop in a small wooden town on the Volga
The little town seemed to be asleep and we had the feeling that we had gone back in time
Total peace and relaxation
We are drinking coffee in a small café and looking at old historical tools of the local farmers
Unlike Sydney there are no crowds and queues on the streets
We start and stop to visit and take photos of Apsley Falls
We are once again surprised by the lack of tourist crowds
So we thank the virus forcing us to explore the natural world within the land
Not only the urban parks along the ocean
We stop at Chia Falls camping site where Malgosia and Jurek feel more relaxed than ever on vacation
Let's go see the waterfalls there are quite a few here
We are returning to the camp where it's just us
We have lunch and in the evening we walk the morning route again for health reasons because it is illuminated differently
The next route is 300 km to Nameboida River Camping
The end of the route is almost 50 km for 4WD and you constantly have to open some gates probably to secure animal traffic
We finally arrive at Nameboida Campground and are delighted
The campsite is empty and green it looks as if no one has been here for a long time
A clean and warm river beside a relaxing dinner and an evening walk
A thick fog surrounds us but after a while it disappears revealing the amazing charm and beauty of the area
The river has stopped flowing and looks like a mirror
We are taking a walk and passing by an old historic cottage at midnight
A relaxing swim in a warm clean river
I am impressed with this place and I give it 5 out of 5
This time the route is just 90 km to Belbird Camping
The drive is easy and trouble-free so there are a few campers at the campsite
There are several trails to explore from the campsite but we're worried the weather might not be favorable the next day
Fortunately the weather is good and after breakfast we go for a 9 km walk to the Rain Forest
Look and admire
I'm relaxed again
Unfortunately many trees still have burned bark after the fires
And some cover them with green leaves with their cremation
The flowing stream and waterfalls surrounded by rocks add a lot of charm to this place
I give it 3 out of 5
The next destination is 160 km to Cypress Pine Camping
We don't know what awaits us there but let's wait
We pass a scenic viewpoint on the way
We are captivated by the clean little towns with historic buildings in Australia and it's wonderful that they still exist
The usual crowd-free and quiet conditions
Next to the shops in buildings built in 1914
We continue on and arrive at the Cypress Pine Camping
We are surprised because it's only 100 meters from our parking spot
A mountain stream is hidden in the village with clear warm water
Camping is well organized and almost empty
Today the sky is cloudy but we are going on a 10-kilometer walk along the Bunobana River
The next day we go to the Track World Rock Walking Trac
We step onto a rock that turns out to be the largest in the southern hemisphere
I am in Australia which we had no idea about
The view from this boulder is breathtaking because
on the horizon there is only nature and no cities
We did not expect this and are enchanted
The next stage is already returning to Sydney and along the way we stop by the ocean in the Mooney Beach caravan
The Karawan Park is nice located close to the river
But unfortunately there are a lot of cow-like campers with tourists who usually sit inside
We feel relaxed but what we left behind
We will never forget the privacy and peace that these places we visited offered us
We will definitely visit again
Bye
