Hippias Major - Plato
The Hippias Major is an earlier Platonic work, although its authenticity has been contested from time to time. It deals with beauty, presenting an argument that accords with the later platonic analysis of beauty as a form not only intelligible but also visible: a unique position in Plato's metaphysical scheme.
