May Garden Tour || Surprise New Plants & Lots of Growth!

May garden tour! What a month it has been! Rain, rain and more rain! The constant precipitation and unseasonably cool temps this month really pleased the plants. While many of the heat loving plants, like the colocasia, alocasia and banana trees have some stunted growth, other plants like the laurels and petasites have grown so much! I've moved most of my tropical plants and houseplants outside, with the exception of my variegated alocasias and some smaller houseplants. The tropical themed garden beds and containers are looking lovely and I finally got rid of the magnolia tree that had the magnolia scale! I always enjoy giving a tour of my plants and garden to see how things progress month to month. I don't have any exclusive houseplant tours or plant tours but I do my best to include them in the monthly garden tours.
