I Had Fun Feeding Chickens Today and Revisiting the Past

This is a house where we lived for a short while 35 years ago. It has a big yard, and we were growing vegetables here back then. I thought I’d stop by and take a look and found these nice chickens.

A friendly elderly man came up to me, and we had a nice chat. I told him that had lived here with my daughter in the late 1980s. He smiled and said it was his daughter’s birthday today, and he had seen her this morning. I told him I was happy to hear that and asked him for permission to look around and take some pictures of the chickens. He said, sure, go ahead! The chickens were happy to get some clover. I love the sweet clucking sounds they make. It was an auspicious day to visit.

Later, I found the photos of my daughter in our vegetable garden. How great those vegetables look!
