In the 1920s, as America started to go dizzy for skyscrapers, the Vienna city council built an enormous apartment block. But instead of going a long way up, they went a long way along - more than 1km long, in fact. Why did they build it? And is it the longest building in the world? I went to Heiligenstadt to find some answers.
