Tonight, the Lakers take on the Portland Trailblazers. The bounce to LeBron, and that's a great way to start for the late show. There's Dame. Thomas Bryant's going to try a three. In and out and back in again. LeBron starts the night. 260 behind Kareem, but he's got five, so make it 255. LeBron, another three. Got it! Anthony Simons. Young names after Penny. Anthony goes all the way and scores as he attacks Thomas. That's what they do to Thomas. They try to attack him. Ball movement. Perimeter on its way. Down it goes. T. Bryant. Lakers started this two games out of a six-seed, which would be an automatic entry into the playoffs as Josh Hart hits it from downtown. Nerkic is one of the better rebounders. Double-digit rebounds. Also a nine straight against the Lakers. And here he goes with authority to throw it down. Here's LeBron. LeBron drifting, falling, scoring. Five minutes into the game. Nerkic gives it up to Jeremy Grant. He was a big pickup for them a couple years ago. LeBron with the left hand. Rebound. Thomas doing work. Did I answer your question whether Thomas LeBron's okay? Simons is alone. That's trouble. Trouble when Simons is left alone. Cutting is Kendrick. None to finish with the offhand. The assist to Westbrook. Grant wants to go baseline. And it's underneath. Reverse layup is good by Jeremy Grant. Kick it out on its way. Down it goes. And that is Nasir Little. None to Gabriel. With some speed. He wants to get to the rim. Reverse layup is pretty. Nice job by Winyan. Look at this move. Bodying in. Making sure the defender had no chance to block it. Nasir Little. And it crawls over the rim. LeBron. Fall away. Baseline. Oh, he used the glass. Wow. LeBron finally going to the basket. Into his action. Throws it in. Wow. That was a little toss, wasn't it? We haven't seen that one very often. Little. Nicely done. Very inconsistent three-pointer. Russ. Unguarded. So he'll take that one. Right at the elbow. And he used the window. Little. He's just got an area. That's a cool spot. Up the hood. Eubanks. Down the middle. Blocked by Christie. What a block. What a play on Josh Hart. Long three. Got it. So it goes for not. What a play by Max Christie. Here's LeBron. Down the middle and score. It's just the third turnover for Portland. Lakers have turned it over ten times. Simons. Portland. Jeremy Grant. And scoop and score. Lakers can't stop anybody right now. Thomas Bryant going to throw it down softly with one hand as Russ picks up the helper. Quickly. Front court. Here comes Portland. Simons again. Yep. Three-pointer. Here comes Grant. He throws it down. Tough Lakers. Willard gets doubled up. Eubanks in. Just throws it up and in with the left hand. Here's Russ. High off the window with the left hand. Smart play by Westbrook. Laker bench is over 50 again. Blocked by Eubanks. Taken by Lillard. Up for Hart. Down the middle he goes. Lob. Score. Lillard eyes the clock. Even a quick look with two. He knew that Simons was there. Boy, those two really have developed some incredible chemistry. Underneath. Eubanks. Throw it down. They are all over the Lakers right now. Lillard will take it. Look at this. Look at this. Simons looking for 45. And the onslaught continues. This is crazy. Dennis Schroeder. He goes and scores. A nice start to the half for the Lakers. All the way. Count it. Three-point. Opportunity for Josh Holt. Good pass. Really good pass to LeBron who lays it in. You have bad defense this time by Damian. Lillard three. You know he's going to get on track. But he made up for it on the head trip down, didn't he? Nobody guarding Dennis and he lays it in. So we're hearing a little bit more every day, right? When we talk to Darvin Ham, Billy. And today before the game, he said that AD looks phenomenal going through a full contact scrimmage. Thomas took all of one second to grab it and score. That's all he needed. From downtown. Damian Lillard. They take it away. Here come the Lakers. It's four on two. Lob. Lob. And throws it down in transition. The lob and the jam. Oh, LeBron's underneath. They get another bucket. LeBron the leading boat getter for the all-star game. Good drive that time by Lillard. Boy, they just opened up the gate too. Bryant's going to get in very low. Count him and go. It goes. And one. Out on top shot. He's hurt again. Got hit in the face. And leaking out is Bev. It's a single digit game. Lakers on the attack. The trade. Gary Payton scores. Gary Payton Jr. Schroeder. Here he goes. The scoop. The score for Dennis. How often do we see Dennis do that particular move there? Lillard got it. Ten point game. Now it's the intruder. LeBron two big steps. Backhand layup is good. See a little. Boy, he tries to force his way in. Loose basketball. Picked up by LeBron. Almost fouled by Hart. LeBron wants the rim again. Payton outside three. Got it. They found the right man again. Anthony Simons. He's been something special. Here we go, Lakers fans. With Russ scoring on the first possession. And they lob it to Jeremy Grant. He's going to hook this pass. And underneath the shot. Lakers didn't have much rim protection there. Here comes Brown Jr. All the way. Score it. Wow. Tough shot. Troy Brown Jr. Made it look rather easy. Westbrook. Good movement. Finds Troy Brown Jr. Making it happen. Russ Simons. Surveys. Attacks Thomas Fine. Pulls up on him and scores. That's Eubanks that made that one happen. Russ all the way. By Eubanks out of bounds. None across the timeline. None. Kicks it home. Troy Brown in his favorite spots. And Alex Russ gives it right back to him. Here he is in the corner. Just like we said. He loves it in the corner. Two point game. Thomas Bryant for the lead. Yes. Lakers 98-97. Underneath. Battled. Portland comes up with it. Eubanks is on the floor. Hart's got it. Here's Grant to regain the lead for Portland. That's going to come up short. Eubanks nearly lost it. Oh! Forced air. Although the Lakers did have some pressure. So give them credit. Simons hangs in the air. Has it blocked? Taken by the Lakers. We're coming up on the halfway mark of the fourth quarter. What a game it's turned out to be. Josh Hart the triple. Well, it's LeBron time. And here he goes all the way. Drive. Kick. Schroeder. That's tough. Dennis. LeBron with nine to shoot. Behind the back. Bryant scores on the behind the back pass from LeBron James. LeBron with 35 in the game. Puts it for Schroeder. Downtown. Got it. Yes, sir. Dennis Schroeder. LeBron moving in and scoring off the window. There's the double team on LeBron. And that means Schroeder is open. Cannot connect. Tough with authority. If he doesn't try to dunk that, he gets it blocked. Simons hangs in the air and scores. They can get out of here with the W. Troy Brown. Ah, Thomas again. Thomas again. Schroeder. No look. Troy Brown. Yes, Lakers. Nine point lead. 46 seconds left. A remarkable, remarkable comeback tonight. They're about to get out of here with a win if they can just handle this last 35 seconds. All they have to do is get the ball inbounds and then get it to shoot free throw shooters. They're just going to let it play out, ladies and gentlemen. How about this? Lakers are going to win it going away. 121 to 112. This is one of the best comebacks the Lakers have had in quite some time. It is not easy when you're down by 25 in Portland, especially for the Lakers. I guess I can't be painted. A couple of times we had some fights about the
