Trimming cow hooves - the easy way.

In this little video I show you how I am training the cows and calves to have their hooves trimmed while they lie down. When cows live in dry conditions and walk alot their hooves are kept short naturally. The jerseys we have had - have never needed this but the dexters hooves seem to grow quicker. I read about this simple method in a book - and it seems to work well. The cows get very tame - they have healthy feet - and I save having to use a professional hoof trimmer.
