Nikola Jokic Goes OFF for 31 Point TRIPLE-DOUBLE In Nuggets W | January 18, 2023

That's going to be a big time challenge for Nas Reed. Jokic is fifth in the NBA in rebounding. He's also a very good... He's in the top 15 and steals as Murray gets the slam with the left hand and it's 6-0 Denver. He's the best attribute of Nikola Jokic. I mean, I don't know. The guy brings consistent greatness, but this is probably it. I think before he is all said and done, he'll be the best passing big man in the history of the game. I think if Bill Walton had played longer... After his one season at Washington, was a late first round pick by the Lakers. 28th overall is Jokic. And Nas Reed just rolls his eyes like, what am I supposed to do about that? Here we get a glimpse of his youthful priorities. But at the same time, he's also extremely serious and mature about his development. He describes himself as someone who's super competitive with a smile. He's a very dangerous, prolific three-point shooter. I'd like to see him put it on the deck and attack the rim more. There's Jokic, spinning, working on Nas Reed. I'd love to see him do more of that with that frame. And then Jokic, Denver, 10 field goals. But he just nightly takes what the game gives him. And then is there anybody better in transition with that baseball pass? Durant looked like maybe he was at the top of the list for a while. Now he's hurt. Jokic in the paint, count it! Here's Jokic, just quick drive. Missed the shot, got it back, puts it in, and a foul. Four and a half remaining here in the first half. Jokic having his way with the Wolves. Nas Reed trying to be physical, trying to make every shot tough. He didn't like how they allowed the Timberwolves to offensive rebound. And he felt they played hard, but he said not well. And he wanted to help each other out. Minnesota, he likes to drive. Utah won the night to get back to 500, beating the Clippers. Clippers now a game under. Gonna be like that the rest of the way as Jokic with a beautiful pass by Caldwell Pope. If you watch him, he gets great post position, gets front post position there, and an easy touch basket for him. He has worked really hard for post position, level of physicality. I spoke with Aaron Gordon, and he tried to describe Jokic. He said it's his dimensional chest. Seven dunks. Nikola is the guy assisting, but there's the quick assist. One dribble. You catch Minnesota. And that assist right there was the record. Offensive foul. I'm just going to say out of bounds, but that last assist was the record for Nikola Jokic. Most assists in Denver Nugget history over the course of a career. Rebound Jokic. Here he is in transition. Gets it ahead to Brown, and a great fit as Prince went straight up. Talked about it all night. The passing skills, the way it makes the game easier. Excellent challenge by Prince, but boy, I'll take Mr. Brown in a foxhole with me. And it's year nine for Anderson. Jokic backing down Reid, trying to get him to foul out. And that's just too easy. Jokic now with 27. Now they clear it out here for the Joker. Catch and shoot. Three! Anderson through the lane. Gives it up to Garza. Too short. He thought he was fouled by Jokic. That would have been his fifth. Brown for three. It's good! And make my shots. People forget how great of an offensive player was Garza was in college. Jokic gets it to Gordon for the slam. Jokic with a triple-double for the fifth time in his last six games. Here's Murray on the drive. Stops. Back out to Jokic. Shot clock at four. Jokic down the lane. Gives it up. Gordon with the slam! Point seven to shoot. And it makes it a four-point game.
