Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Principal Dancer Kenji Kobayashi’s childhood dream was to become a baseball player. But after attending a Shen Yun performance for the first time, Kenji was captivated by what he saw on stage and aspired to become a classical Chinese dancer.
