Joe Rogan, who is best known these days for being a superstar podcaster,
has finally chosen a mega mansion to call home in Texas.
For years, Rogan has been entertaining the idea of moving his show and family to the Lone Star
estate. We'll take a look at the massive 14.4 million dollar mansion Joe and his family will
be calling home in Austin, which was one of the biggest transactions in area history,
as well as his longtime Bell Canyon homes. In these videos we don't reveal any addresses,
and even though I've done a house tour of my own place, please do not show up at any
private residences because it's not safe for anyone. Joe Rogan is a comedian, actor,
martial arts expert, UFC commentator, podcaster and more, who was first known as hosting the
hit reality TV series Fear Factor. Even before that, he came to the public's attention appearing
in news radio. Joe notably went on to host UFC, a perfect gig for him considering his passion for
martial arts, and he helped popularize MMA. While these gigs established Joe as a well-known
media personality, it wasn't until his career renaissance or comeback that he truly became
the household name he is today. Reinventing himself as one of the most popular podcasters
on the internet has made Joe so successful, he recently increased his net worth to over
100 million dollars. It's been rumoured that Joe makes as much as 30 million dollars a year for ad
reads and YouTube advertising through his podcast. And while that may sound like a whole lot,
it's nothing compared to the deal Joe signed with Spotify. He signed a record busting 100
million dollar exclusive contract with Spotify to make this the home of the Joe Rogan Experience,
a deal that coincides with his move to Texas. While in Los Angeles, Joe and his long time
wife Jessica Ditzel have resided in a modern bell canyon mansion. And at the same time,
Joe has maintained his starter home in the area too, a 2.2 million dollar spread,
just walking distance from the larger house.
Hey guys, it's Kara and today we're bringing you another house tour here on famous entertainment.
I know just 95 percent of you watching aren't subscribed so be sure to hit that subscribe
button because we post a new video daily. We previously reported on the homes of Joe
Rogan but only recently did the news of his mega Texas mansion come to light.
Now that we got the details on the new place, it was time for an update.
He's also apparently listed at least one of his bell canyon homes on the market,
so we'll take a quick look at those too. If you like these videos, ring that bell for
notifications. Follow me on Instagram to chat, and as usual, let me know who's house tour is next
in those comments down below. And let's get into this video.
Less than a month ago, it was reported that Joe was trying to shed some of his California real
estate baggage, putting one of his two bell canyon homes on the market for 3.2 million.
This one was purchased way back in 2003 for just over 2.3 million according to records.
Bell Canyon is located deep in the San Fernando Valley, and while it's a further set LA suburb,
it still has it's fair share of celebrity residents. Joe's home is located alongside
other large estates, but stands out thanks to it's roomy 2 acre lot and lush landscaping.
Also called a secret garden. This home was originally built in 1978,
and the main mansion has been completely renovated while Joe has lived here.
The French country style home appears modest from the front, but inside it's far from that.
Spanning 7,573 square feet with 5 beds and 5 baths, past the elaborate arch front door,
the home boasts pure white walls, beamed ceilings, recessed lighting and large picture windows.
A formal dining area and den located in the home's massive great room,
along with a sculptural floating staircase leading upstairs. The kitchen is full of
a very pricey La Cornue gas range, breakfast bar seating and more. Joe's master suite here
encompasses the entire second floor, while the other family bedrooms are located on the main
level. The master bedroom has it's own bridge leading to a private patio and separate sitting
room with granite fireplace. There's even another lounge area located next to the tub and the master
bath. Strange, but it's there. Outside the grounds have shady trees and grassy lawns,
plenty of places to dine and take in the valley and mountain views, and a sparkling pool and spa.
Other highlights of the property include a home office, a meditation atrium, a games room,
and Joe's former gym, which is no surprise, decked out with photos of MMA fighters.
While that home is no doubt gorgeous, Joe and his wife own another house just a stone's throw away
in Belle Canyon, which he acquired in 2017 for 5 million dollars. This place he reportedly spends
more time in, and remains his home while he's in LA. It's also remarkably different in design,
and much more contemporary. The open concept mega mansion features 8,720 square feet of living space
with 6 beds, 9 baths, and a whole lot of luxury amenities. As soon as you walk in the front door,
you can see almost the entire place, including down into the bottom floor, the dining room,
out onto the patio, and into any of the multiple living spaces. It's basically one giant room
separated by glass walls, and a second floor, flooded with natural lights, and equipped with
high ceilings and white walls. Joe's master bedroom is on the bottom floor of his mansion,
and like every other room in his home, the bedroom is completely open, both in terms of the indoor
space, and allowing for quick access to the outside, so he gets to enjoy stunning views from
here too. On the second floor, you'll find a seating area leading to a dining room, and a more
casual living space with a fireplace and TV. To the right is Joe's kitchen, the place where he
cooks up all his meat. Of course, Joe also has a fully equipped home gym, and after spending some
time working out, he likes to unwind in his beautifully lit bathroom. Most recently, Joe
has uprooted his family to Austin, Texas, shelling out a whopping 14.4 million in an off-market deal,
one of the biggest transactions in the area's history. For that price tag, Joe scored himself
a waterfront mansion located in the desirable spot along Lake Austin, a quiet neighborhood away
from the busyness of downtown Austin, but not too far dry. Some of the neighboring homes are owned
by celebrities like Sandra Bullock and well-known business billionaires. Rogan's new country abode
measures in at a Texas-sized 10,980 square feet, with 7 beds and 10 baths. While the keys were
exchanged quietly and details about the mansion are vague, pictures of the home do show you what
it's all about. Several years back, the main house rocked an early 2000s Mediterranean vibe
that was popular in suburban homes at the time, but it's since been completely redone. You see,
the previous owner, Benjamin Woods, was an architectural designer himself and gave the
place a makeover, turning it into a sleeker, Texas-inspired modern farmhouse with just a
taste of the old style. The front of Joe's new property has a roomy motor court and paved path
leading to the front door. Walking in, there's a double-height entryway with light wood walls and
an artsy chandelier overhead. The interiors of the home are sunny, modern and glam, with top-of-the-line
appliances, exotic materials and bright pops of color. We can see this in the formal dining room,
painted a shade of blue with gold fixtures and vintage-looking furniture. Nearby, there's also
a lounge area with a full wooden bar and a living room with full walls of windows and glass doors
to the yard. There's an open layout in most of the home by the looks of it, as well as beamed
ceilings and plenty of space to entertain. Not to mention, the home boasts energy-efficient metal
sheeting atop the roof. The tree-lined, 4-acre lot sits on the reservoir-controlled Lake Austin,
and aside from the two attached garages, there's a carriage house perfect for an RV or boat.
Either way, there's plenty of room for Rohan to store his extensive car collection and some toys
for the lake. The backyard is large and grassy, ideal for their family dog Marshall made to
frolic, while the recent renovation added a large saltwater pool to the property. Elsewhere,
there's a solarium-covered patio space to relax away from the Texas sun, and a party deck.
Alright, so I think I'll bring this house tour to an end here. We got to take a look at Joe
Rogan's homes in Bell Canyon, LA, one of which he's trying to sell, and his brand new home in
Austin, Texas. After seeing that $14 million dollar abode he's moving his family to, what did you
think? Was it worth the price tag, or too steep? Personally, it looks like everything was custom
designed and well thought out, and the fact that it looks like a Pinterest mansion kind of justifies
the price tag. Out of Joe's 3 homes, which was your fave? You guys can even go ahead and rate
them in the comments down below. I'd also love it if you guys subscribed to my personal channel,
I post a video every Sunday and I'm trying to get to 1000 subs. We'll link you my latest video.
