Nеymаr vs Ѕаudі Аrаbіа HD 1080i (12/10/2018) English Commentary

University Stadium in Riyadh. In this stadium, the home ground of Al Hilal holds 23,000 people and those 23,000 tickets sold out in 20 minutes. Great excitement as you can imagine and the prospect of welcoming Brazil. Number 10 and captain Neymar 59 international goals from 92 appearances for his country. Well run back for almost the first time. That's a decent ball forward from Renato Augusto and boos for Neymar. Cacophonous boos for Neymar. Renato Augusto will probably enjoy the attention. Coutinho plays it to Neymar. He's making his international debut. Neymar darting between two as he pulled back. The referee has let it go. Neymar certainly thought he was pulled back. This has been a very different story. Here's Neymar. Renato Augusto. Neymar. Good footed by Alburaic. Coutinho to Neymar. Casemiro looking for Fred. The challenge came in from Alshahrani. Neymar knocked off the ball. Taken up by Philippe Coutinho. Now Neymar wriggling away through Neymar. It's a corner. And on this near side it's Chiete as manager. Coutinho there was offside. He did flick off Coutinho in his spell as Brazil manager in the World Cup quarterfinal against Belgium. Neymar. Beautifully done. Renato Augusto in behind here. Well covered. Chance is still there. Fred too. Away by Alburaic. But Brazil just beginning in behind Alshahrani. The left back. Neymar is there. It's a great block for Brazil. Can't get in there midfield. Neymar. Good block on that. Here's Neymar. Coutinho. Right through the heart of the defence. Did well. Neymar in the middle. Well cut out. Another of the Brazilians with a new club after moving in this summer. Manchester United just settling into life. Chiete decided perhaps wisely to overlook him. Here's Neymar. Neymar finding space. Great run. Just off the mark. You almost expect him to score from there Neymar. Chiete did expect him to score. Four goals would put him in second place behind only Pelé. He hasn't scored more than once in a game for Brazil in over three years now. Neymar's got to all of them. That's a good challenge however. Bert van Maaike, the Dutch coach who left the federation who replaced him with Juan Antonio Pizzi for the finals where they did pretty well. That deflection has fallen kindly. Gabriel Jesus is offside. Let's have a look. But it's stripped to him. Mohamed Alaoui is back in his boots on the post. In goes the free kick. Good header. Brilliant save. To keep it out. It's a brilliant save. Gabriel Jesus there must have thought he was going to score. Here is Neymar. Neymar coming deep. Alexandre as the pantomime villain Neymar comes over to take the corner. Marcelo pulling up. Neymar with this corner kick for Brazil. Half an hour played. Saudi Arabia nil. Neymar's delivery deep to the back post. Reasonable pull-up as well. Well cut out by Neymar who had come back a long way. And is now dispossessed. Neymar's lovely little ball into Renato Augusto. It was a really good block which denied him by Omar Hossouri. Gabriel Jesus trying to pick out Neymar. Denied. Salomel Dossouri. That was over at Everton in England. Quiet the crowd down as much as anything. Holding meeting. They would fancy themselves to get out of that group I would imagine. Here's Neymar. Certainly should. Neymar running now at Al-Buraik. Blocked by the right. But he only made one appearance. That's the lack of football. I agree. Well as Neymar was going to say get some instructions. It looks rather more like he's giving some instructions. Maybe reflecting that he's rather pleased he didn't follow through on a decision. Well Neymar is not entirely sure. Appear to be doing rather more talking than the coach. It's a nice little Marquinhos wins it back for Brazil. Neymar now. Neymar. That's a lovely killer ball. Gabriel Jesus opens the scoring for Brazil. Give him an inch they take a mile. Neymar given a little bit of space and he played a delightful ball through to Gabriel Jesus who finished superbly well. And for all their great effort Saudi Arabia and they have played extremely well. They find themselves behind Gabriel Jesus with his 11th international goal. Look at the quality on the pass from Neymar. Left back Yassiel Shirani was sucked inside by the run of Neymar wanting to help out the troops in closing it down. That left the gap for Gabriel Jesus and he did the rest. Goalkeeper unlucky otherwise but Neymar provided. Gabriel Jesus scored the half. Neymar picking up from Coutinho. Neymar at it again. Alexandre was he caught? Referee says not. Now Neymar taking over from Coutinho. Threading it through. Coutinho's in the middle. 30th coach in 30 years. Montessori here running it. It's away from Abdullah Otaei's challenge finds Neymar. Neymar is knocked off the ball fouled by Salman al-Faraj. Again whether we get the opportunity to or not I don't know but Lucas Moura thought it was a penalty. Danger here. Here's Neymar great composure oh brilliant ball. Good save again by Alois to deny. Fantastic play by Neymar. We have to credit Mohamed Alois again for another very very good. But look at Neymar here just by standing still people seem to be beaten by him and then a brilliant ball whether Lucas Moura was onside or not. Not sure but he was given onside. Referee seems determined not to use him. But anybody looking at from 93 caps including today some very very similar statistics. Neymar will be keen. Here's Coutinho Neymar oh brilliantly done. Driven right across goal Alois is there but Neymar superbly done. Now Salman al-Faraj and a shirt pulled by Philippe Coutinho that free kick is correctly given. Ronaldo well Ronaldo scored 62 international goals in 98 caps. Neymar currently on 59 international goals from 93 caps including today. Some very very similar statistics. Neymar will be keen to overtake Ronaldo if he can and get to his tally of goals in 62. More quickly I'm sure but for Brazil Neymar's shown some delightful touches however. Here he is Lucas Moura to his right hand side Neymar that's clearly a free kick I'm not sure who it was who actually brought him down it might have been the pair of them Abdullah Otaif and Salman Al-Faraj. But Neymar's played well tonight. Coutinho's been a little quiet actually. Neymar might have a pop from here. He might have a pop though those in the middle might not thank him for it. He doesn't. The squad were involved in that game. Good challenge Renato Augusto here's Neymar for Brazil Lucas Moura to his right hand side Gabriel Jesus to his left and Neymar is flattened and that he better do something about it. Just past the halfway mark a great heart from this Saudi Arabia if they can keep the scoreline as it is or even maybe Coutinho to Neymar Lucas Moura two caps two goals Here's Neymar Neymar Arabia remember played Iraq on Monday in the third game of this four team tournament Richarlison Saudi Arabia's evening they've played extremely well now can they keep it going for the last 15 minutes of playing time in this match the definite penalty for a foul on Lucas Moura would do the job cleared away by Yassir Al-Sharani quite comfortably actually here's Neymar Neymar that header is a bit short well for Paul Mohamed Al-Awais an outfield player will have to be sacrificed comes a substitute goalkeeper Mostafa Malaika his first touch for his country just might be to pick the ball out of the back of his net that's what Neymar is hoping two and a half minutes of normal time it's Neymar and it's deflected off the wall for a corner Neymar is going to take the corner just a little glance at the crowd who are both booing him and filming him in equal measure and some cheering too Neymar's corner and the header is just wide forward here he is again Neymar Neymar again he's won it back as he just cleared away Artur Neymar almost rugby tackle by Salman Al-Faraj Neymar will get the opportunity to have another go with a set piece probably for the last time but here's Neymar and that's not far wide but it is wide Wallace Neymar Lucas Moura Neymar they want the one-two Neymar back into Richarlison applause and like magic the cheers turn to cheers Wallace nearly headed his last corner in Neymar takes this one and that is headed in to Brazil Alexandro with the header for his first international goal another assist for Neymar he's assisted both goals international stadium of king Fahad with the corner on the right and everything counted victory João very natural and normal of Brazil although there is to praise the team of Arábia Saudita as we said good performance it's a team that seems much better than it has been in recent years yes it's true of course as the team also plays the players very different to improve against Argentina
